Serious downhill experience!!
Have been to Sandos 6 years in a row and it has deteriorated from the our first year badly! Service was not nearly what it used to be, The staff used to look happy and made your trip more enjoyable. This time the staff just seemed to be in a continual hurry and everything felt very impersonable! So many weddings going on during our visit this time which made you feel like you were unimportant as they were catering to the wedding parties mostly. Wanting to book a vacation this coming winter... don't think we'll return to Sandos! Very disappointing! There used to be a beach as well, that was quite nice. Now it's unusable.

Bridal party hair perfection
Margot and Fabiola are wonderful!!! We had our hair done for my sister’s wedding and it turned out exactly as we asked! Awesome service!!! I defined recommend using them for any services while staying at the property. They can even come to your room to help save time.

Great time
We had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend booking the adults only section. Very worth it if you're not traveling with children. Great staff. Great resort. We enjoyed the restaurants, food, and drinks. Check in and out very easy with the adults only section which was lucky for us. I could see a big wait in the lobby for others though when we were leaving. The nature and wildlife are amazing. Monkeys and coatis everywhere. The boat ride with Daphne was wonderful. Caesar was very helpful at the cenote for swimming and Luz was so entertaining with the bike tour. All in all...very worth it. Don't listen to the negative reviews.

Don't come in. NO BEACH
NO BEACH. DON'T RECOMMEND COME IN FOR THIS PLACE IT WAS SO TERRIBLE. For avoiding and lost your the money do not come in My family and I vacationed here. It was terrible because there is no beach. It is impossible to swim in the ocean because there is simply no beach. The website does not say anything about the beach and it is very dangerous to enter the ocean because there are many sea urchins. I do not recommend visiting and spending money on this boarding house.

Worst experience of my life
I don’t normally write negative reviews but I’m making an exception for this place! I’m sure some people at some point may have had a 5 star experience here but I’m a little suspicious of most of them. They all name numerous staff members by name, are written in a strange style of English. For example I’m sure the yoga is good but I don’t think anybody would find it that mind blowing they’d log on and give a 5 star rating for the entire holiday just because of a yoga session - ignoring the putrid smells, horrible damp rooms, unsafe terrible food which you will get sick from, animal excrement everywhere and the five hour check in..but yeah yoga was great so five stars it is! Mexico is a lovely place, even this hotels sister hotel is good apparently - its just down the road book that instead! But please please don’t go here, sort the reviews by star rating starting with 1 star and you will see people saying the same things over and over again, believe them.
