We stayed here for a quick getaway with friends and our mom’s. The staff throughout the hotel were cheery and willing to help. Room was very clean. Plenty of food options, including such good sushi. Really appreciated activities by pool like ceviche and cocktail making. The best part of our stay was the spa experience. Exceptional. Our therapists were Bricel, Maria, Cecilia and Clarissa. Bricel assisted in helping get our group booked and did a great job helping me understand booking options for the spa. We felt so pampered that day thanks to our therapists and Karina, Airam and Frederico. Will definitely be back. The resort is not brand new, but it’s gorgeously upkept and so well located.

Birthday celebration
Patricia at the concierge was beyond helpful in making my sister in law’s birthday decorations all set up in her room the morning of her birthday! She had balloons, roses, bday banner & even a cake all set up for her to be surprised with once she came back to her room after breakfast! Thanks so much Patricia!!! 🥳 Sandos is an amazing place to celebrate your birthday & all of the staff are all so great! ❤️

The best people and food in Cabo!
Jazmin and Georgina are such lovely ladies! They work at Tortuga, our favorite restaurant at Sandos Finisterra They always greet you with a big smile and make sure your experience is the best! The food there is always excellent! The view to die for!. I appreciate them so much! ❤️

Highly recommend!
My wife and I just recently returned from our stay at Sandos Finisterra, having stayed from Dec. 1-6, 2024. This was our 5th time visiting Los Cabos, but the first time visiting this resort. This is a great resort for families and for couples wanting a relaxed atmosphere! If you are looking for a party resort, which we were not, this is not for you. One note of caution for families: this resort does not have an evening buffet (other than on the Beach Party night, mentioned later in this review), which I know many families prefer; you must eat dinner at the ala carte restaurants. We love the size of this resort, it is not too big and not too small. We had a Marina View room, which had a terrific view of the marina and the town of Cabo San Lucas, which was just beautiful at night with all the city lights. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. There are activities throughout the day around the pool, including bingo, guacamole class, cocktail class, sushi class, painting class, water aerobics, water volleyball and movie trivia. The entertainment team members encourage guests to participate, but do not pressure you. The beach is extremely wide and free of seaweed and trash. The water at the beach is not swimmable however due to an undercurrent. There were baby turtle releases at 9:00 a.m. on three of the days we were there. From the shore or from the resort buildings we saw whales every day. Some of our favorite food items were: Chilaquilas and omletes for breakfast at the buffet restaurant. Fish and shrimp tacos for lunch at the Agave restaurant (palapa down by the adults-only pool). Made-to-order personal sized pizzas and sushi during the afternoon at the Pizzeria next to the lower pool. The clam chowder, beef tenderloin and creme brulee at the Tortuga Beach restaurant down by the lower pool. The caprese salad, aparagus soup, spaghetti carbonara, salmon, and Tiramisu at Emiliano's, the Italian restaurant. The poblano pepper soup and roasted cornish hen with Mole sauce at Don Diego, the Mexican restaurant. The drinks at the pool bar, Whale Watcher's Bar and plaza bar were all very good. The lobby bar is very small; we did not go there. We loved the Cupcake Cafe (coffee & sweet shop). There are live shows almost every night at Plaza Finisterra, the plaza with outdoor stage at the upper part of the resort. One night during our stay they had a beach party, which consisted of a buffet dinner followed by a fire show, all down on the beach. The gym is very small, but has a few elliptical machines and treadmills, weight machines and a few free weights. It opens at 6:00 each morning. The employees at the resort are all extremely friendly and do all that they can to make your vacation special. A few of the resort employees that stood out to us were entertainment team members Carmen, Evelyn (Eve), Fernando and Yuki, plus Marlen at the Cupcake Cafe (who remembered that we preferred decaf coffee). They helped make our vacation special. We will definitely be back! Kevin & Michelle.

Emiliaro's dining
We highly recommend dining at Emiliaro's. Our breakfast were very tasty and the server's Georgina and Yazmin very super friendly and cheerful. The pastries were excellent and fresh each morning. We also had the pleasure to dine for supper and also a great experience. I highly recommend eating there.
