    Amazing as usual

    5 out of 5 José and Miriam are the dream team bartenders. Carlos in the lobby. Loved it all. Amazing service and drinks. Beach is amazing. Mario in the Italian restaurant on my last night was fabulous!!! Good amazing

    Wedding at Sandos

    We had a really nice stay here for our wedding. The property itself is huge, and we saw plenty of monkeys and coatis around the grounds, which was a fun bonus. The beach is extremely pretty and has lots of natural shade from the trees, so we never felt crowded or overheated. Because of our wedding package, we were upgraded to the Platinum Tower, and the view from our room was genuinely great. Food-wise, there was good variety, and thanks to Sergio we were able to get reservations at all the restaurants during our stay. (Sergio was a valet the resort assigned to us I think with our wedding package? Wasn’t expecting that but he was cool and fun. when I got insane blisters on my feet he had someone go to a pharmacy to get me lidocaine cream so I could walk at my wedding lol saved the day. 10/10) The Italian restaurant ended up being our favorite. Our wedding planner, Armando, was on top of everything from start to finish. The day went perfectly, and we felt really well taken care of. The DJ also did a solid job—several of our guests even mentioned how good the music was.

    Go elsewhere!!!

    The moment we got there, we were harassed by Sony trying to sell us her royal elite presentation after me telling her no she continues to ask my husband to come to this meeting, but don’t worry you’ll get a free massage or they’ll pay you money. I didn’t come here to waste a vacation day to buy into their royal elite program. It didn’t end there they called our room first thing in the morning and woke us up to advise us to come to this meeting, and then still have the audacity to leave a door tag that says important to contact them now mind you we are on vacation. We were worried something was wrong. The rooms are absolutely disgusting. Can’t even describe to you the amount of mold in the room that we stayed in. It was so bad. It was even all over the curtains. We stayed in the adult section now don’t get me wrong. The grounds are absolutely beautiful at this place, but the rooms need updating . And just remember if you don’t make dinner reservations a week in advanced you will be eating buffet every single day of your stay three times a day. Friendly service at the bars and the beaches and pools are beautiful I will give them that. Transportation here is ridiculous. You were waiting 20 to 25 minutes for the transit to come pick you up to bring you to one location to another. I would never stay here again just based on how the moment I got there I was harassed by that woman SONY , very distasteful how I told her I wasn’t interested and went around me when I had walked away and just decided she was gonna put her claws in my husband. Don don’t stay here they’ll ruin your vacation.

    Excellent

    Bartenders Mariam and Jose create such a welcoming and positive environment at the Avenue Bar. It has quickly become our local upscale hangout. From the moment we are greeted with their infectious smiles to the sip of our last drink , we feel welcome , at home and ready to enjoy our next visit.

    Fabulous time at Sandos Playacar

    We had a great time at Sandos Playacar. Buffet was the best we’ve had yet plenty of options for everyone. Great nighttime shows for the kids. We loved hanging out at the family pool. The bar tender Ronaldo was our favourite he was awesome and absolutely amazing to our kids and us! We will be back again just to see him and have some more spider man shots haha
