  Fabulous, relaxing holiday at Santo Miramare

  Had the most fantastic holiday at Santo Miramare. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette. There are plenty of sunbeds and beanbags around the pools and plenty of pools to swim in and enjoy. All the staff are warm and friendly and this really made our stay. The hotel is clearly well managed. The beach is just across a quiet narrow road with the most comfortable sunbeds. We were half board and the food at breakfast and dinner was always tasty and fresh. The pool bar also offers a good choice of food options. It was lovely sitting at the pool bar in the evening enjoying the fabulous cocktails. The location is fantastic with lots of bars and restaurants very close. The hotel has a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere where everything seemed effortless. Reception staff organised a taxi for us to Oia with no problems. We will definitely return here and we have had the most relaxing and beautiful holiday. Thank you to all the staff at Santo Miramare!

  Fab hotel on the beach

  Lovely hotel for a family, we booked a family room and it was huge. Two bathrooms with showers, two bedrooms and a small kitchen/ livingroom area and a outside patio. Everything was very clean. Three large pool, one of which was a children's pool. They also have some very shallow pools my kids loved to dip in. Always enough sunbeds. The beach was outside the back and had plenty of comfy sunbeds and umbrellas provided by the hotel. The black sand could get hot but fine under the shade of the umbrella and the sea was lovely to swim in. We ordered pizzas to the pool for lunch and they were really nice. You could also order drinks to the beach. We were bed and breakfast which had enough options for us all. It could get a little busy if you got there late but always had somewhere to sit. The staff were all really friendly. We hired a car for the day through reception which was easy, we drove to Oia and Fira for the day which I highly recommend. Its easy to drive around the island. There were plenty of restaurants just outside of the hotel on the beach side. I recommend one called Taste of the beach. Also a couple of small supermarkets. Outside the front of the hotel was a little park which my kids liked to play in. There is also a little train that goes along the seafront which was fun to ride on. We loved staying in this hotel and next to the beach in Santorini.

  Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

  Santo Miramare Resort is a beautifully presented hotel with clean, modern facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, and well maintained, with wonderful views of the pool and the sea. The resort grounds are lovely, with several pools surrounded by beautiful palm trees and well-kept shrubs, creating a relaxing and peaceful setting. The staff work incredibly hard to make guests feel welcome and looked after. A special mention must go to Edmond, Denae and Sabrina who were outstanding — they were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A couple of small recommendations that would make an already great resort even better would be to have one pool designated as adults-only for those seeking a quieter area, and to provide tea and coffee-making facilities in the rooms. Overall, a wonderful resort with excellent staff, beautiful surroundings, and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended

  Santo Miramare Resort - Pleasantly surprised!

  Admittedly, I am always somewhat apprehensive when booking a hotel, and as someone who naturally gravitates towards reading the lowest rated reviews, I arrived at Santo Miramare with a few reservations. However, I was pleasantly surprised, to the extent that I felt compelled to write a review! From the moment we arrived, we were met with a very friendly welcome. A member of staff (whose name I unfortunately did not catch) insisted on carrying our luggage as he guided us to our rooms, with no pressure to tip. Stepping out of reception, the resort immediately appeared very impressive, with multiple swimming pools and a great pool-side bar. This strong first impression was later confirmed when compared to other hotels along Perivolos Beach. The rooms are indeed somewhat basic, but they did the job, and I do agree with a previous reviewer that a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge would be a welcome addition. Throughout our stay, we were greeted every morning by a very friendly room attendant, who kept our rooms spotless (I did not catch her name, but she looked after rooms 120 & 121). The resort was also very attentive to cleanliness overall, with staff regularly sweeping up fallen leaves and keeping the grounds tidy. As is common in many resorts, some guests do reserve sun loungers in the morning with towels, especially those in shaded areas/with parasols. Despite this, we never struggled to find available loungers during our stay. The pool-side bar is great, with good food/drinks and friendly bar staff. Those circulating the pools with menus could be a little more engaging - perhaps asking guests if they would like a drink or menu - but being able to order food straight to your sun lounger is definitely a bonus. Also, the black-sand beach is only a short walk away, with plenty of loungers available. It was very easy to explore the rest of the island - booking a taxi through reception was seamless. The taxi firm also provides a card for pick-up, and you only need to send a text about thirty minutes before your required pick-up time. With regard to food, we were half‑board, and I would disagree with previous reviews that the meals were repetitive. There was a clear effort to avoid repetition in the evening dishes and to include some Greek cuisine, which was great. Breakfast is naturally more repetitive, but there was still some variation in the items offered. Overall, Santo Miramare exceeded my expectations. The friendly staff, clean grounds, great pools, and relaxed atmosphere made for a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend Santo Miramare and would happily return if visiting Santorini in the future!

  Beautiful hotel with fabulous facilities

  Beautiful hotel with several pools and it's own private beach. Poolside and beach furniture were all very high quality. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Bedrooms were large and modern, again with the best of furniture. All staff were friendly and professional especially George on reception, Skei the barman, Marios who looked after the whole beach area and Edmond who seemed to do a bit of everything
