  Too Many Basic Issues at Resort - Very Unhappy - Not Recommended

  Very disappointing experience. Basic issues were or could not be handled by staff. Totally inefficient meaningless long lines at the buffet entrance, hot and sweaty buffet room/elevators/other common areas, in the room unable to control A/C and Fan, just to get an ice cream it was an uphill climb, kids very disappointed that they had to struggle to get ice cream a basic item, my brother's room shower drainage was never fixed after repeated complaints to front desk (they don't care), Lighthouse or Manhattan was open for dinner with the same menu but not both (your website advertises both, deceiving the guests), Big Ben closed on Sunday makes no sense at a resort, waiting for breakfast at Big Ben was a torture we had to leave and go to the Buffet line sweating, once got stuck in elevator due to power failure and we repeatedly pressed the Alarm and got no response no concern from staff, in Cactus the Beverage machine rarely worked kept on going out of service, very under-staffed in all departments, on your website you advertise Mediterranean/Poke Bowl/Panini/etc. and none of them available completely deceiving the guests. It was a terrible experience. The good things: Room/Balcony was very spacious and stunning, resort decor and looks were beautiful, entertainment/shows were fantastic, Staff was Friendly and Courteous.

  Great dining experience

  Exceptional Dining Experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and Head Chef Ernesto went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences—his attention to detail made the meal truly special. The menu offers an incredible variety, ensuring there’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to return! A perfect **10/10** for Chef Ernesto

  Poor service for English speakers

  Location is great sat on the beach can't fault this. The room we booked was a suite with jacuzzi with ocean view. The view was fantastic but unfortunately thats where it it stops with being good. Our jacuzzi was unusable for the whole time we were there as the ceiling above was leaking heavily into our jacuzzi and dropping chunks of plater from above into the jacuzzi. We called the reception to fix and a maintenance person came up to the room but he couldn't speak English and nothing was done so while we paid extra for the jacuzzi suite we were never able to use it which is very disappointing. When we checked in the following morning we were asked to see the infinity club people who proceeded to harass us into to buying some kind of payment plan which really did feel like a scam and they wouldn't take no for an answer for atkeast an hour which made us feel.very uncomfortable. The atmosphere in the hotel was pretty much none existent there was occasionally a band playing in the main lobby but this was not every night and is a poor choice of location for evening entertainment and we ended up watching the entertainment in the hotel next door from our balcony. The service for us was very very poor throughout our stay of 2 weeks. When we were sat at bats resturaunts the pool and beach we found the waiters would generally ignore us whilst serving people near us who spoke Spanish but not us and I can only describe thus as borderline racism. Even in the buffet we were not asked if we would like a drink even when people sat near us were being served multiple times. It really put a bad feeling for us throughout our holiday which we had booked as a luxury escape and paid £3750 in order to experience a 5 star resort but it was anything but. The resturaunts would randomly be closed some evenings and sometimes there was a waiting list of 1.5 hours to be seated. Food quality was average at best with the best being at the Mexican resturaunt but this was only open in the daytime and not for evening meals. We asked repeatedly if we could take some drinks up to our room to enjoy the view on the balcony but we were refused everytime bit then actively saw people (Spanish speaking) walking into their rooms with drinks so again this is not acceptable. The service at the beach for us again was unacceptable (with the exception of Asmael) he was fantastic and would speak to us regularly and provide the service we would expect from a 5 star resort. When he was not around we were just ignored all day again even when people were being served right next to us. The lifts in the hotel are also awful extremely hot and can take a long time to come to you when called. The only bars open at night are those in the lobby area which is sometimes uncomfortably hot due to the lack of air conditioning, aside from these the seabar only catered to Spanish speakers with all.of the music played and the sports bar was ok but were were unable to use any of the pool tables as it was always full of children playing on them. The only smoking area in the hotel is all the way at the front by the lobby so you would have to go all.the way there to smoke I would expect there to be other smoking areas dotted around the resort but there were none. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and certainly would not ever go back to this hotel. We had booked a luxury hotel with a long flight from England as a treat for ourselves but this has really disappointed us

  Great value resort

  Really enjoyed this resort, especially considering the price! It was clean (beach and hotel), food was good quality, staff was friendly, it was quick to get a drink or into restaurants (no reservations required). Ate at the buffet a lot and while I would’ve liked slightly more variety, there was definitely something for everyone. Probably enjoyed the Italian restaurant the best, wasn’t a fan of any of the steaks I had there though. Kids club was being worked on while we were there but they enjoyed the water park. Would’ve liked a few more kid friendly activities to keep them occupied though. They especially loved the kid specific drinks they could order at any bar. And my boys are both very picky eaters but were able to get something everywhere. One major issue I had was how loud the nightly music. It blasted throughout the resort until 8:45 (one night it went until 10). Definitely unacceptable for kids and their bedtimes. Overall, I would still highly recommend this, particularly if you don’t want to spend a ton of money.

  Great experience all around. Every restaurant was great but we really enjoyed Florencio. Lesli, Elba, and our server,Ruben were absolutely amazing and the food was equally amazing. Every activity at the resort was so much fan and family oriented, a fun experience
