Staff is very friendly, service is excellent. Food is great at every restaurant, even the room service. Resort is very clean.

I'll try to just this as short as possible. This is our second trip tip Secrets Akumal. We were big fans of TRS YUCATAN and traveled there to TRS 5 times , until Grand Palladium decided to to upgrade the family sections and have done littk to the TRS adult section. Anyway we switched to Secrets Akumal last year , we love Secrets Akumal. Last year at checkout we were approached by a member of the Unlimited Travel Club by Hyatt. I asked if their offer had anything to do with sitting through the sales pitch we weren't interested Of course we were told no it wasn't. They were offering a very low price on a 4 night stay. It actually was at a very good discounted price, but they emailed me the contract to my phone, I started reading the contract but our airport ride had arrived so I agreed to the deal without reading it completely. When I got home home I printed the agreement only to find we needed to attend the sales pitch for the discounted package . We I figured we would just deal with in and attend the presentation when we returned to the resort. We were told anything but holidays, I had an issue booking days in October even though there aren't any holidays in October. We eventually got the days in October that we needed. We went to the sales pitch today. They offered us a 5 year plan which made sense by we both are almost 70 . I asked for a contract with everything that was promised verbally. Of course they said they could send it to my phone but didn't had a hard copy. Thats went I decided to leave. They promised to send a contract but still haven't received one

Best Food, Best People, Best Place
BEST RESORT EVER, the food is top notch, every employer is friendly and wants you to have the best experience without waiting for tips to show kindness and attention. I didn't have prefered or "premium service" and I still felt like I had it.

Flawless stay
Had a fantastic experience. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to help you. Everything we ate was great, every activity we participated in was fun and well thought through. I really couldn't fault the stay and wish I could've stayed longer.

Our time at Secrets Akumal was great! We especially appreciated the hospitality of pool concierge Jose! Himitsu was definitely the favorite meal! Bummer that there’s not more of a beach to walk but still a very nice resort!
