  Calling all snorkeling enthusiasts

  Perfect resort for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts! Hundreds of fiah and even rays right from the pier. Plenty of food and drinks choices and an entertainment team that kept things fun, especially Heydy, Wendy, Irvin, Aaron and Temo. Don't miss the entertainment highlights, Mayan show and the band Showtime. The band was absolutely fantastic!!.

  Highly Recommend!

  My husband, myself and 2 other couples just got back from Cozumel (January 2026). This is our second time staying at Secrets Aura Cozumel! We absolutely love it! If you are looking for high maintenance resort, this probably isn't for you. If you are looking for a chill place to relax, place your butt in a lounger either by the pool or on the beach with a cocktail in hand...then this is definitely the place for you! We had a beach view room on the 3rd floor that overlooked the pool and the ocean. It was beautiful! We had cold air conditioning, hot water with amazing pressure. The king size bed was really comfortable! The housekeeping kept us in fresh towels and stocked up with water and assorted soda and beer in the mini fridge. The food was great! The staff always checks for food allergies. We were not preferred; however, we couldn't tell the difference as we were able to go to most of the restaurants and had no problems. The entertainment team (E Team) was EXCELLENT! Especially Wendy! She is such a doll and had everyone up playing water volleyball, water aerobics, beach yoga, beach games and all the evening entertainment was fun! Wendy always had a smile on her face and genuinely cared about us. We also loved Aaron; he was our favorite the last time we were at Secrets three years ago! He is now a supervisor for the entertainment staff! The Barefoot Grill was our go to food choice during the day as they will bring it poolside or beachside! The wait staff was great making sure we had drinks while sitting on the beach or b the pool. They do have towels by the beach; however you need to get up early to grab some or you will have to wait. We learned to grab fresh ones for the next day the night before. If you want a good spot, you have to go early (around 8). The best thing about Secrets, besides it is kid free, is that everyone is very friendly and the views are absolutely breathtaking! You can snorkel right in front of the resort!!! If you decide to dive or go on an excursion, they will pick you right up outside of Secrets as they have a pier! Be prepared to have water shoes, when you step out in the water, it is rocky as the coral reef is right there. The only downside we found was you got a whiff of sewer every once in a while. We defiantly will be back as we love Secrets Aura!

  Secrets Aura, very relaxing!

  I just returned from my trip to Cozumel. I had a wonderful relaxing trip. The resort has wonderful walkways to get around. We discovered that it is 2 in one. Dreams and Secrets. Entertainment team is awesome. Loved Artiemo! Played Volleyball, aquafit, zumba and did yoga while my sister relaxed. Something for everyone!

  Not good

  We traveled with 4 other couples. Every couple has had room issues. We are still here and have had a sink that leaks so bad, water seeped out of the bathroom and into the hallway.. flooded, we have had to clean up puddles over and over. Reported this the morning after we checked in. Nothing fixed. Now out toilet may flush or it might not. As far as we know, nobody has looked at it .. it’s been 6 hours since reporting. It’s 3:30, still no maid service. We were supposed to get a free bottle of alcohol in our room. Mentioned it to concierge at the preferred VIOP club. Nothing. One couple never gets clean towels. One room had bugs. Another room had air conditioner issues with moisture covering their floor and room smells musty. Some restaurants are closed.. it’s a very dated resort and needs lots of work. Roll the dice I guess. We were booked ( all 5 couples) with preferred club with suites and we all got vastly different rooms.

  Amazing resort…will go back here everytime!

  What an amazing time we had on our girls trip! Such a beautiful resort with a beach that can’t be beat! The food was fantastic and we definitely left 20lbs heavier! The staff were truly amazing! Everyone we encountered from housekeeping to entertainment to servers and bartenders were top notch! The drinks were plentiful and the attentiveness of the staff serving was on point! We did not encounter any renovations on the secrets side but next door there were renovations happening. Did not affect us at all. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and the pools were lovely. The pool view room was updated and spacious, hot shower water and cold air conditioning with one of the best beds I have slept in at an all inclusive. Fridge was filled daily and room was cleaned to perfection. Nothing missing in my opinion. The beach and snorkeling was the best part of this resort. Hours spent there everyday enjoying the crystal clear water. The drink service on the beach was amazing, always someone coming to refill our drinks. Even had food service on the beach..amazing! The entertainment and activities were limited but it is a small resort so might be expected. The entertainment staff were amazing. Always friendly and kind entertainment crew working hard to keep everyone partying! Excursions were easy with pick up at the pier on secrets beach for water excursions or pick up at the gate for ground excursions. The only negative I can think of would be lack of loungers around the pools. Was difficult to get a chair if you didn’t have a towel out before 7am. Overall, 4 of us absolutely loved this resort and would go back everytime. Already planning another visit! Thank you Secrets Aura for a memorable girls trip and a week of absolute paradise!
