Secrets Resort n Spa is a beautiful resort with incredible staff. Our king bed room was spacious with a large double sink bathroom. The walk in shower had 2 overhead shower heads plus a hand held shower. Maid service was terrific with turn-down in the evening. The young Ladies at the pool were all very attentive n friendly. Alexander our amazing concierge greeted us every morning with a text outlining the activities for the day n evening. He sought us out daily at the pool to discuss any issues we may have n schedule dinner reservations. Alexander is very knowledgeable about the resort amenities n was extremely helpful. There are not enough incredible superlatives to express how kind, easy going n always with a warm smile on his face. We celebrated my Husband’s Birthday n Alex arranged to have a Birthday Banner on our Room door, a bottle of champagne n Birthday cake at the Hibachi Restaurant. The entire restaurant staff sang Happy Birthday!! Alex even arranged our luggage pick up for our departure day, met us in the lobby to make sure our check out went smoothly. Alexander you made our vacation time at Secrets stress free!! You’re The BEST!! Special thank you to the staff at the Market Cafe, Coco Cafe, the pool crepe maker n staff at every restaurant. All were so very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to returning n seeing our Secrets Family!!

Outstanding!
We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week break at Secrets Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. From the moment we arrived at Secrets to the day we left we felt all the staff cared how we were and that we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable break. They made us feel part of their family! We were greeted by our Concierge- Rafelina. She showed us around the resort and told us about the facilities before introducing us to our fabulous room. She made sure we had all the information we needed to make the very best of our stay. You can find daily activities and shows on the TV in the room or on the hotel app but Rafelina sent us a link every day with all the information we needed on it. She checked in with us daily via what's app but also saw us from time to time on the beach and by the pool to check that we were having a good time and not experiencing any issues at all during our stay. She organised breakfast in our room on the three days we had trips. We didn't have to worry about anything. On her days off Rafelina also asked her colleague Manuel to look after us. He arranged late check out so we could use the maximum amount of time to pack and use the hotel facilities on our last day. If you don't get late check out you don't have to worry because you can continue to use the facilities right up to the point you leave and will be offered a room to take a shower. Great choice of restaurants with high quality food and lots of choice. All on first come first served basis with the exception of the teppanyaki aspect of the Asian restaurant. Massive pool. Everything is well maintained and clean. All the staff are happy and friendly. Any maintainence issues are dealt with immediately. Quick and efficient! We also want to mention all the fantastic waiters, waitresses, entertainment and bar staff. A special shout out to the ladies in Coco cafe. They are so friendly and the cakes are lush! The beach area is immaculate. There is a team that clear any seaweed. Plenty of sun beds and shade. Beach towels available poolside and on the beach. We used to take a clean one back to the room every day to use the next day as we were up early. The hotel was at full capacity one day and we didn't see any drop in the service level. It didn't feel overcrowded. There are lots of different areas you can use throughout the hotel. It has an on site theatre with a range of entertainment but there is also entertainment in the lobby area, by the pool, on the beach and there are special dining evenings held in the garden area. Something for everyone. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks again Rafelina for looking after us!😁

A Dominican Delight
Our first trip to a Secrets resort and our first trip to the Dominican Republic and I can’t say enough good things about both. The resort is everything you could possibly want on an all-inclusive vacation, the best thing being the people that work there. I have never been to anotherresort where the staff has been so courteous so friendly so amenable to all your wants. The food and the drinks I guarantee you will never ever be hungry or thirsty. But I have to givea special shout out to our personal concierge, Alexander. This man attended to any and everything we could possibly ask for on our vacation. He was incredible. What a credit to the Resort and to the Hyatt organization. If you decide to go to this resort, ask for Alexander to be your concierge.

quality everywhere
very good - not much to complain about apart from too much food and drink but that's my problem! key is the staff who are so friendly wherever you go - Jeison was a superb butler. Preferred beach quiet and relaxing . Swimming in the sea very enjoyable apart from cloudy and seaweed. Spa very relaxing - needs a bit of a spring-clean though with scaling blocking showers etc. Would 100% recommend the resort even though getting there and back via BA can be stressful - no the airline they once were. The dark beer in the foyer bar is very good - they should serve it everywhere

Fabulous apart from the seaweed
We had the basic preferred club room - had requested one large bed well in advance but got 2 doubles - all rooms face towards the sea and we didn’t need anything more Liked the bath on the balcony Our butler Jeison kept us up to date on all activities and came and found us everyday to make sure all was well Beach was great - disappointed that the seawater was not crystal clear like most Caribbean beaches and with all the seaweed but these are obviously out of the hotel’s control! The hydrotherapy pool was great and tranquil compared to the more lively and crowded main pool the preferred club pool was quieter too Few delays at the spa but lovely treatments All the hotel staff were helpful and friendly The foyer entertainment doesn’t have the right seating for people to make the most of it but plenty in the theatre always something going on Loved the sound bath on the preferred beach and the ice bucket/ flag system great
