Feb 14, 2026Clean resort with lovely rooms and great staff
The resort is small, very clean and rooms are very nice. Staff is amazing. The beach is lovely with soft, white sand. Beware of theCoati animals. They are everywhere and not afraid of humans. Do not attempt to eat food on the beach or leave food in your bag on the beach. They will jump on you for it or drag your bag away. The a la carte restaurant choices are limited and just ok. 30 min chair saving is enforced . Your belongings will be taken if the beach or pool seats are not occupied within 30 min. Service and staff are great and animation staff is a fun, lively bunch offering many activities. I recommend the 9:30 am beach walk. I also really liked the coffee shop. Great ice cream, sandwiches and treats. Overall a nice resort .

We had a lovely time at The Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. Although the property is the smallest resort we have encountered we did like the ease of getting around and finding stuff. The staff is truly a shining star of the resort! Loved the staff:) Food was good. Night entertainment was a blast! Although it was a little unseasonable chilly during our stay we hung out by the pool and enjoyed the entertainment and music. We did get a couple of sunny days and the pool was hopping with people just wanting to enjoy life! There were always activities to participate in and out of the pool. The beach was well groomed and we took advantage of a nice walk and floating in the waves. Of course fun drinks were a daily must! Fond memories of our trip.

Great Small Beach Resort
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was our second time staying here, with the last time being in February 2023. The staff is great - attentive, friendly, and responsive. They take great care of you whether at the cafe, bars, restaurant or pool. The property is very well maintained and is in good condition. The beach is nice as well, with the sargassum being minimal during our stay but cleaned up every morning. The food is above average for an all inclusive. The fitness center is nice. Our room was well-appointed and had a great view over the pool of the ocean. We enjoyed coffee and early evening beverages from our balcony. Getting around the property is easy as it’s not overly large, although it could be challenging for those who can’t take at least some stairs. I’m not sure where some of the negative reviews of this property come from. You know going in that it’s a fairly small property with just a few restaurants. But we were happy with the variety and never felt constrained during our four night stay. Sure, you might want more options if opting for a longer stay, but again, it’s clear what the size of the property is. I think it’s perfect if what you want is a nice, relaxing beach vacation with top notch service, a beautifully maintained property, and very good food.

Phenomenal week long stay.
We had the best experience! Staff was amazing. Rooms cleaned daily, bartenders are quick and consistent. Pool was so clean, and they have the most pristine beach ive ever seen. Food was also incredible

Great intimate, relaxing resort.
Excellent facilities and rooms. Smaller, more intimate resort where everything is within a few minutes walking distance. They keep the beach extremely well groomed. Butler services were fantastic. There were not a lot of restaurant options, which made dining three times a day a little repetitive. The food on the buffet was fair. A lot of meat and sauce combinations and very few unsauced items for those who prefer more of a steamed or grilled diet. Overall, we loved the resort and would stay again for the close proximity to the beach, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful rooms.
