  We had an absolutely fantastic experience. We got checked in at the marina, was served a variety of drinks. We found out both us AND the couple coming with us had gotten an upgrade (which is never guaranteed but we were getting married there so we were hopeful they'd work with us) Our luggage was loaded for us on the catamaran as we got to float along while they continued to serve us from their selection. David was our butler and he was absolutely AMAZING. He took pictures of us on our wedding day. I saw him before I walked down the aisle and saw the happiness on his face for me and had to stop to give him a hug. Absolutely fantastic butler service. Food is very subjective but we found almost everything to be really really good. I actually lost 3 pounds on my trip and not for the reasons you'd think - there are plenty of active things to do and walk around and see (for instance Punta Sur with a ten minute walk and is breathtaking with lots of trails to walk by the ocean) but the grounds itself is beautiful to walk around and explore. And they had SO many healthy options. I ate fresh fish almost daily and it was lovely. Lots of fresh water available to drink with meals and in between adult beverages. No one beats service in Mexico. We loved sweet Eduardo at Cacao. He remembered we got married a week after the fact and made a heart design on my latte. Hermes, Elwin, Jabar, Miguel, Gil and Regina were amazing, and that's only listing a few. VERY attentive, always looking to see if you needed anything, to share a joke or chat if you wanted to. Wait service overall was great. Victor at Wildfire, Oscar at Sake and Tony/Daniel at Sake (Tepenyaki) were some stand outs. We had a lot of trouble with service and food at La Vista so that was the only one we avoided. The food was really not good and after 2 hours of not even getting desert, we tipped and left. But hey, food is subjective and perhaps they were short staffed that day so it is what it is. The spa was great, we had a couples massage and my hubby went back for another massage afterwards and absolutely loved it. It's expensive but they run specials and if you have resort credits OR based on room booking you can get a % off which I feel like makes it more manageable. Shout out to Pam and the wedding crew that went over and above. The wedding was beautiful and thoughtful and everything we hoped it could be. We would absolutely go here again. The resort was clean and beautiful, and no country does service like Mexico, seriously. Loved the island and the ability to hope on a golf cart and scoot around the island as well. Cannot recommend this place enough if you're looking for a chill, relaxing, high end upscale resort stay where everything is taken care of and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy. We'll definitely be back in the future!

  Best Hotel we've ever stayed in!!!

  We came here two nights for our honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay at Impression! We experienced the best & exceptional service, super friendly staff, including Ritik (guest experience manager ), our two butlers: Wedinzon&Vianey !! :) The food ist amazing and the location just unique and brilliant!! We also loved that the transportation from the mainand with the katamaran ferry is already included and you get the first drink already on the boat. The only thing we figured, that prices for the hotel doubled since May 2025!!! That is a pitty...

  Already Booked our Next Stay

  Returning to Impression Isla Mujeres for our third visit truly felt like coming home—and somehow, each stay keeps getting better. From the warm welcome by Eduardo (Lalo) to the signature catamaran ride and the gracious hospitality of General Manager Mourad Essafi, everything started on the perfect note. The team at the pier set the mood for an unforgettable anniversary escape. Spezia really shined this trip, thanks to Edgar’s attentive service and Chef Simone’s creative dishes—especially the Salt Fish and Pittsburgh-style Steak. Breakfast was a treat with Jacob, Carlito, and Juan, who served up legendary Bloody Marys, while Heide in the Coffee Shop spoiled us with personalized lattes that were simply over-the-top. Our Butler team, Wedinzon and Vianey, made sure every detail was perfect. In the Spa, Manager Aacovic and massage therapists Ivonne and Nora helped us relax and recharge. Special thanks to Rosario, the bar manager, for elevating every cocktail experience; Pablo, the Entertainment Head, for keeping the vibe lively and fun; and April, the events coordinator, for making everything so enjoyable. Accommodations: We split our stay between an oceanfront suite and the Paramount Suite—both offering breathtaking views, ultimate comfort, and thoughtful amenities that made us feel pampered.

  Where Elevated Luxury meets Effortless - Impressions Isla

  Impressions Isla Mujeres completely exceeded my expectations- and I work in the travel industry. The property is stunning in every direction, the food rivals some of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at, and the service is at the level you’d expect from resorts with Michelin-level recognition. We stayed in a Signature Suite with a Jacuzzi tub and ocean view, and our butlers, Edgar and Eric, were truly exceptional. They consistently went above and beyond, even bringing food from the rooftop restaurant down to the beach when we didn’t want to leave the view. We also loved the extra experiences offered here: the sunset catamaran sail with a violinist and champagne, the private wine-cellar dinner, an amazing spa day, and the floating breakfast in the Jacuzzi pool. Every part of the stay felt thoughtful and elevated without being over the top or rushed. This is easily one of the most relaxing resorts I’ve visited. We had no concerns about dining reservation as the butlers take care of that upon arrival and with only 100 rooms the pools and beach chairs were never over crowded. The quality and overall vibe match the price point, and travelers who choose to stay here will appreciate the attention to detail. Even the catamaran ride to and from the island is a beautiful way to start and end your trip. I will be excited to send travers here & I will absolutely be returning myself!

  Amazing get-away experience

  My wife and I just returned from a 5 night, 6 day stay in a junior ocean front signature room. The experience arriving in the catamaran and being greeted by our butlers was awesome. Our butlers, Wedinzon and Vianey, split our butler service. Both were responsive and very helpful throughout our stay. My wife and I have stayed at nice resorts in Costa Rica, St. Lucia, Turks and Caicos and other locations, but this was the most unique and memorable of all. The room view was stunning. The amenities are unmatched with the welcome bottle of tequila, full mini bar, wine bar, snacks and other gifts. I like to eat and drink well, and this trip met all my needs :). The overall atmosphere of the resort is remarkable. We did take a bike tour and venture in to town a couple times, but we did not have much desire to leave the resort. We participated in a couple of the scheduled activities, but wanted to spend most of our time just lounging and relaxing on the small beach area, and the beautiful pools. The only constructive criticism I'd offer is that there were some minor issues with the room that we would not expect from a newer property (about two years old) that is so high-end. These included some issues with water pressure, use of the spa, and our door did not close securely without us pulling it forcefully (easy to forget to check that it is fully closed when coming and going). These are picky and minor observations though. What I will remember most is the stunning views, friendly and responsive staff, and the quality of the food and drink. At every turn resort employees engaged and greeted us and made us feel welcome (not just our butlers). Our butler Vianey even assisted us after we checked out and returned to the marina by catamaran, helping with some glitches in our airport transfer transportation. Bottom line, we would like to return again. The property is one of the most expensive we have ever visited, but the experience was well worth it.
