Aug 29, 2026Beautiful Experience from the Moment We Arrived
We recently stayed at Impression Isla Mujeres and absolutely loved our experience. Honestly, the vacation felt special before we even arrived at the hotel. We got to the marina in the morning, and while waiting for the catamaran, we were already enjoying the incredible views. Then the catamaran picked us up, and from that moment everything just felt beautiful and relaxing. We arrived at the resort around 9 a.m., and I was very surprised that our room was already ready. Our butler, Eric, met us when we arrived, took us directly to our room, showed us around, and even handled the check-in right there in the room. It was probably the easiest and fastest hotel check-in I have ever experienced. One of my favorite things about Impression Isla Mujeres is the size of the resort. It feels intimate and never felt crowded. We could always find a great spot by the pool or on the beach, which made the whole experience much more relaxing. As with most all-inclusive resorts, it took us a little time to discover which dishes and restaurants we liked best. Once we found our favorites, the food experience became much better. Funny enough, at first the Italian restaurant was probably my least favorite, but after trying more dishes, it became one of my favorites! I especially loved the spicy fish soup, lobster pasta. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy. We rented a golf cart for four hours and explored Isla Mujeres on our own, which I definitely recommend. It was such a fun way to see more of the island and made the trip even more memorable. A special thank you to our butlers, Eric and Leonard. They both did a great job throughout our stay. Whenever we had a question or needed something, they were always available and ready to help without ever making it feel intrusive. Overall, Impression Isla Mujeres gave us exactly the kind of vacation we were hoping for: beautiful surroundings, a peaceful atmosphere, great service, fun activities, and plenty of time to simply relax and enjoy the island. Definitely a five-star experience, and a place I would happily return to!

vacation!
Amazing stay at this resort! Everything was so well curated and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. Huge thanks to Wedinzon and Vianey for being so nice and making sure we were comfortable the entire stay and for booking all the dinners/excursions for us. We will definitely be coming back to this resort.

Worth the Upgrade - spectacular views, exceptional service, and solid F&B!
Highly recommend this resort! It was the first time my husband and I visited Isla Mujeres overall (which is so lovely in and of itself) and this was the most expensive resort we have booked. But, the views of this resort and the way they incorporated the property into the natural elements just gave an overall elevated feel. First and foremost, arriving on the private catamaran and then being greeted by your private butler with cool towels and welcome drink was a nice touch. I also enjoyed not having check-in/out times so we avoided the awkward time just sitting around and waiting for your room. Our butlers (Wedinzon and Vianey) were so attentive and made us feel special. They were so patient, professional, and friendly. Along those lines, the guest services overall really sets this resort apart. Basically, everyone we encountered was so friendly and they worked so hard to make our visit special. A few shoutouts include Guilman, Matilda, Noel, and Oscar. The food and drink also deserve a shoutout. We have traveled to many resorts in Mexico where the food was subpar at best and drinks were definitely watered down with crap liquor. This was not the case. All restaurants are made-to-order (no buffets!). We were impressed with every meal and felt it was legit alcohol. We ate mostly seafood dishes and were not disappointed. Being from Texas, we were hesitant about the beef dishes, but they were better than expected (still hard to beat any beef dish from Texas!). Our ONLY negative is that the beach access is very limited with sketchy ladders to get you in/out of the water. They should build something that allows the guests to get into/out of water easier. And, they should consider dredging the smaller rocks. You really need water shoes getting into the water given the smaller, jagged rocks all over or the plant growth. While the property was really small, we had half the week where we took our time getting down to the beach and had options for chairs. Unfortunately, as more guests arrived, they would put bags/hats/etc to hold the prime spots and rarely sat in the chairs. That was a bit frustrating (especially since we rarely got in the water and just wanted to enjoy the water looking at it from underneath the umbrellas!). Lastly, it didn't impact our trip but know there are A LOT of stairs to get you from the top of the resort down to the water. We didn't mind (kept us active) but only found out our last day that there was indeed an elevator. I think it should be reserved for those with limited mobility so we wouldn't have used it anyway, but it would have been nice to know it was there though! Overall, this was an excellent property and we will definitely be back. The water views alone at top notch! It is worth the upgrade to get the oceanview !!

David and Angel are awesome butlers!
David and Angel greatest beautiful, butlers that I have ever experienced. They made us feel like family whatever we needed they were there. Looking forward to going back to Impressions in Isla Mujeres and I definitely would request David and Angel!

Paradise Heaven!
10/10 experience!! Starting with a private catamaran transfer to the island sets the tone for what's to come. The property is stunning and well maintained. The staff is the best part...so kind and always asking if they can do anything more for you. The food is top notch as is the adult beverage choices. I can't wait to go back!!
