May 09, 2025More beautiful than the photos!
The first thing you will notice about IIM is the view, it is striking! We arrived on their catamaran which I found very relaxing. I did not get hot even though it doesn't have air conditioning as I saw in some complaints, the ocean breeze kept me cool. Refreshments are offered. We were upgraded to a ocean front room from the ocean view room we booked and were extremely happy about that! Although both views are beautiful, you can't beat the shades of blue you will see in the ocean front rooms. Our room was breathtaking! Pools are nice, there are several options. The "cave" pool never had anyone in it while we were there, but there are no chairs at the cave pool, you have to use the main pool chairs. The main pool has the swim up bar and chairs with umbrellas and also a couple of cabana like options that are all included. The chairs on the dock down by the ocean seemed to be the most popular. We snagged one of them one day and found it extremely zen listening to the waves only feet below our feet. Also, at least on the week days, this was a no rush resort. In fact, there were still chairs by the pools after lunch one day. Service was excellent everywhere, every single person attending us by the ocean or pool deserves props! My only complaint is it was quite a hike to the bathroom from chairs on the dock and the beach bathrooms had mosquitos flying around and no one stocked towels to dry hands the entire time we were at beach. Food was delicious! Restaurant service again was excellent. We were happy with most of our choices, not everything was good, but most everything. It was very easy to make reservations for dinner with our butlers each day, Erick and Wedinzon, who provided awesome service. We had no issues being seated for breakfast when we wanted it and we enjoyed lunch by the pool and ocean. The stairs at the resort are no joke though, so if you don't like a lot of stairs, then I do not recommend this resort for you. The elevator is not available until you get to the top of the stairs and it only takes you to your room. We stayed on Tuesday through Friday and it was very quiet. If you are a party person this is not the resort for you, but if you like relaxation, a beautiful view, unique activities and entertainment then this is your place. During the week it seems like there was a variety of ages from 20s up to 60s, but by the time we left Friday morning, the weekenders were arriving and the crowd was probably mostly 20s and 30s. The pool and beach chairs went a lot faster and earlier also. Also the resort was a constant Instagram fest in only the few hours we had left that day so I feel blessed to have stayed on weekdays and not the weekend in order to reach peak relaxation. Although we were happy we chose Impressions Isla Mujeres, I am not sure it was our vibe (I think the north end of the island is more our vibe). The staff always made us feel comfortable and welcome though and I feel fortunate to have experienced Impressions Isla Mujeres.

Home run Anniversary and Birthday for the ladies!
Antonio was amazing! He totally out kicked the coverage for expectations. My best friend and I brought our wives for his wife’s birthday and my anniversary to Isla Mujeras. Antonio, from the moment we stepped on his dock, was charming intoxicating and funny. The best was when he pulled me aside knowing about the birthday and anniversary and said he would take care of it. The girls were floored. Major points. Love this dude and Impressions Isla Mujeras will be the hot spot for 2025 and beyond!

Amazing!!
Such an amazing resort! Antonio took such good care of our group! He was amazing along with the rest of the staff! Highly recommend this resort for an adults getaway. The food is amazing along with the drinks. Go find Antonio he will take good care of you!

From Start to Finish – Absolutely Incredible!
Just got back from Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets… and WOW. This resort blew me away! From the moment we stepped onto the catamaran to the time we left, everything at Impression Isla Mujeres was truly exceptional. The food, the staff, the facilities, and the beautifully maintained grounds all exceeded my expectations. I came in with very high hopes, and this experience absolutely blew me away.

Amazing experience ! Over the top.
Increíble hotel! Volvería mañana. Worth every penny ! you will get much more than what you expect. Way above of what one expects from a all inclusive, all the restaurants are " a la carte" made with good quality ingredients. Excellent brands of liquors and delicious cocktails. Our room was #1514 w/amazing ocean view. We had 2 butlers in charge of making sure we had our restaurants and activities reservations in order and thensome. They are really there for you. Private transport to Isla Mujeres from Can Cun in a very cool catamaran along with drinks for the ride. I would say more but I don't want to give away the whole experience... just go! Definitely will come back!
