  Mother/Daughter Tropical Get-Away

  We had a an excellent mother/daughter vacation at Secrets Playa Blanca! The property is immaculately clean and the service throughout the facility is excellent. We did not opt for the preferred option and did not feel like we missed out on anything. We chose the swim-out option but did not even use it to the full benefit as we spent all of our time at the other pools because we were having so much fun there. The Entertainment team really made the vacation great with all of the daily activities. Special shout outs to Cher (genuine and sincere), Angel (aqua cycle king), Sergio (challenge him to ping pong) and Sue (high energy). Each of these team members took the time to learn our names and make us feel involved and welcomed - thank you. 5 Star Shout Out to Jamie -social pool concierge, who took such good care of us each day and even made time for a quick dance lesson for us. Claiming a pool chair by 8am was essential to get a front row seat and that was even when the resort did not seem crowded. Mosquitos are an issue of an evening so bring bug spray. All the restaurants here provide great options and the nightly entertainment was a great way to wrap up each day. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to get-away, relax and have fun in a beautiful tropical setting.

  Amazing Resort!

  Just returned from an amazing getaway to Secrets Playa Blanca! I cannot say enough about the staff and this resort. From the moment you arrive you enter a beautiful open-aired lobby and are escorted to a seat with champagne. We were not preferred club and still received such preferential treatment. We were checked in and our concierge Oscar took us to our room and stayed in touch with us throughout our trip sending text messages regarding activities that day, if a restaurant was closed and even ordered distilled water for my husband's Cpap machine. Thank you for being so amazing Oscar! We had a Junior Suite Ocean View Room with draw dropping ocean views, an extremely comfortable king sized bed, and enormous bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Only thing I want to mention is that the sliding door separating the bathroom from the room itself is a slotted wooden door, so not tons of privacy. The grounds are so pretty with tons of foliage, fountains and palm trees. It does take a day or two to get your bearings around the resort. There is a meandering jungle pool with bali beds and a hot tub, an oceanview quiet pool with swim up bar and a social pool with music, bali beds, and offers yoga, cycling, volleyball, dance lessons and Baccarat. Some of these activities are run by Sue who is the sweetest and always came over to say hello and converse with us. Jaimie always made sure we had cocktails by the pool and shared stories with us. I cannot say enough about Sue and Jaimie. Secrets is very lucky to have these two on their staff. The restaurants were amazing with selections of Italian, French, Japanese, Mexican (proper attire is required at these restaurants) and two open-aired restaurants along with a buffet for lunch and dinner. Rendevous is a huge open-aired bar with comfy seating and several fire pits to relax after dinner and have a night cap. What can I say about the beach except the water was gorgeous, the sand was soft and white and there was very little sargassum. You can even see Isla Mujeres from this property and take an excursion there. I would definitely return to this resort and would give it six stars if I could.

  Outstanding service

  We had a wonderful stay at this resort Secret Maya Blanca in Mexico! Everything was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the entertainment and shows were fantastic. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended! Special thank you to waiter Jorge from Bordeaux restaurant!

  Great resort and service

  Wonderful stay at Secrets Playa Blanca – exceptional service from Lois & Juan! We had a wonderful time at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are stunning, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy a few days away. What really stood out, though, was the service, especially from our personal butlers, **Lois and Juan**. Both were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. They were always available to help with anything we needed, checked in regularly without being intrusive, and genuinely made us feel welcome and well taken care of. It’s the small details and personal attention that make a vacation memorable, and Lois and Juan really delivered on that front. Their hospitality was a highlight of our experience. A big thank you to both of them for helping make our stay so enjoyable. We’d happily return and would certainly recommend Secrets Playa Blanca to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Costa Mujeres!
