This was our 3rd time visiting this resort and we were easily reminded why we keep coming back. The location, amenities, cleanliness, and hospitality of this resort are just a few of the countless reasons why we love this place. I wish we could name everyone that made our trip so amazing but specifically need to shoutout our favorite entertainment team (Ivan, Axel, Fernando, Miguel) for being the best!! Additionally wanted to include Salomon, our waiter at the main pool, Pablo who assisted us with our luggage, the bartenders at Manatee and Rendevous, and Bruno and Alexandra from Hitmitsu. Thank you for the vacation of our dreams!!

The service from everyone was outstanding
The service provided by Araceli at the Market restaurant was outstanding, she is the kind of person that makes you go back to the hotel.

We had a good time and loved the staff of this hotel. The coffee shop (is open 24/7) and the Italian restaurant were the food highlights. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast at Oceana
Daniel was our server at Oceana for breakfast, and he was wonderful! He was friendly, attentive, and made our breakfast experience even better. Be sure to ask for Daniel. You’ll be in great hands! And I highly recommend the Special Burrito. You won’t be disappointed; it was delicious! Definitely a must-try!

Aug 26, 2026A lot of room for improvement
The item most in need of improvement is the AC (particularly in building 6 -maybe others also). Maintenance came to look at/work on ours on two separate occasions and told us they would turn off the sensors so the AC would run even if we were not in the room. This is either NOT TRUE or did NOTHING to help the situation. We then moved to a new room which at first glance seemed to be slightly better though we were told the AC had not been running since the room was empty...it was 70 when we moved in and then 72 the remainder of the time we were there. Not ideal. We did not complain again as we did not want to spend our time packing and unpacking again to move to another room. We also did not want to be in building 8 as it was very removed from everything though we were told the AC was working better there - who knows. We also met other guests who had the same AC issues in their rooms...seems like a bigger problem. While we had excellent service from the staff, the company as a whole is NOT providing them with the tools to do their job well or adequately. HYATT should do a better job. I will shout out Rebecca, Eduardo and Mariana (all in Preferred Club) as they were wonderful and as helpful as they could be. We also had great service from our Pool Waiter, Juan - great guy! Bell Boys Diego and Miguel were also friendly and helpful and a joy to interact with. If the company doesn't do better for their employees, they will find themselves without good employees such as those I listed above.
