Oct 13, 2026Exactly what a stay should feel like. Outstanding service and food
I came to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos after leaving Breathless Cabo San Lucas early, and it completely turned my trip around. At Breathless I dealt with flies in the breakfast buffet, cold room service, and constant party and construction noise. If you’re deciding between the two, skip Breathless and book here. The service here is on another level. The staff remembered my name almost right away and greeted me personally every time, which made me feel genuinely welcome instead of like just another guest. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurants, was warm, attentive, and clearly cared about making the stay great. The food was excellent across the board: fresh, well prepared, and served at the right temperature. After a bad experience elsewhere, it was a relief to enjoy every meal without worrying about quality. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive in Los Cabos where the staff actually make you feel taken care of, this is the one. I’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone.

Dinner at El Patio with Xavier the violinist.
Xavier our violinist was absolutely fantastic. Xavier elevated our experience tremendously out at dinner when we were at El Patio. My family will forever remember this night at dinner.

Stayed at this resort for 4 days for an attorney retreat. I have been to multiple all-inclusives, and this resort is not a five-star resort. I am not sure where all the positive reviews came from regarding the food and the service. I found the food to be from average to good. The food seemed to be very hit or miss depending upon what you get. I found the service to be poor to average. It seems like the workers would often forget your order or fail to bring you things. Some also did not seem very happy to be there. I just get the impression that they are understaffed and overworked. This is even though I tipped. I found the housekeeping to be excellent, and they kept the room in very good shape. My minibar was restocked every day with snacks, two beers, two sodas, and four bottles of water. I left a note for more waters, and the person provided additional waters. This was a very average minibar setup for an all-inclusive. One of the attorneys complained that they did not get a bottle of wine in the room. The resort is starting to show its age and seems to need a new update. There was a lot of wear and tear that had deferred maintenance. The resort is very nice. However, it is certainly not oceanfront. The beach area is very limited, and there was no clear sign regarding how you get to the beach area. The preferred club did not seem to be worth it. The food that was served in the club was poor, and they did not seem to enforce any of the preferred club areas. There was no bracelet to differentiate, so it seems like anyone can go into the preferred club areas.

The Great Secrets Get-away
This was our second visit to this resort, and even so it still exceeded our exptectations on every level. The attentiveness of staff and the overall atmosphere of the resort is fantastic. Consistently fresh and delicious food, great variety of both non-alcolol beverages & cocktails/beer etc. Even though the beach was non-existent due to hurricane storm-surge, we thoroughly enjoyed walking the resort and its stunning gardens and pathways. We enjoyed the quieter mood around the Preferred club pool

We arrived 10/11. Our 7th time. It just keeps getting better!
My husband and I returned for our 7th 8 days vacation. A beautiful location on the Sea of Cortez. Great check in. Room with jacuzzi tub and balcony with views and crashing waves. The food at all the restaurants is excellent and provides so many choices. The customer care is outstanding. Lots of fun activities and entertainment .Yoga, Tai Chi, pickle ball. The gym is excellent. Sitting under the palapas watching the ocean is magnificent. The sunsets astonishing. Room service is wonderful. The Entertainment Team, servers, hostess, greeters, all the sraff, all these years keep us returning for a totally relaxing and fun vacation. We plan to return 5/27 if God wills. .
