Five Stars for Secrets and the UVC Team!
Secrets Los Cabos exceeded all our expectations! We enjoyed a wonderful stay in a beautiful room, perfect for entertaining our closest friends. The entire team and the UVC club were awesome, taking such good care of us from start to finish. We loved the balance of relaxing at the resort and exploring the local charm of San Lucas and San Jose. Highly recommend!

Clean resort with friendly staff
Staff is friendly, the grounds are clean and tidy, food is good, but wait times can be lengthy. The rooms are clean and the view was lovely.

Thumbs Up on Property, Thumbs Down on Food
4 night stay, end of January, 2026. Reserved a swim-out Ocean View, Junior King and was convinced at check in to “upgrade” to a Preferred Master swim-out for $1k. That placed us in building 6 which was a truly awful location. Our “ocean view” room had a sliver of an ocean view and a full on view of the corporate party area and a giant chess board. Be aware that the large, noisy party venue is a grassy area right in front of building 6, making that building, in its entirety, highly undesirable. After some back and forth with Angel, a Manager, we were moved to building 8 which was truly ocean view and much more desirable and peaceful. So kudos to him for doing that. The property itself is attractive and well kept and is really the main draw. The restaurants, while attractive are uniformly mediocre - our meals ranged from 5 to 7.5 out of 10, with our best meal on property being at the Mexican restaurant. So the all inclusive thing is an attractive option if booze and quantity is your thing, but definitely not if quality is your thing. The wine selection included in the package was extremely poor. We sat thru the Unlimited Vacation Club sales pitch but couldn’t come close to it making sense based on the steep entry price and the food quality. One last point is that no effort is made to enforce the policy that the most desirable beach and poolside lounges cannot be left unattended for more than 45 minutes, so people hoard them for the day starting early in the morning. All in all it was a nice stay, at a lovely property but not one we’d want to invest in and our best meal of the trip by far was in town.

The Best: Roberto Sanchez!!
Roberto Sanchez was the best poolside waiter we’ve ever had. He went above and beyond for our family every single day and truly made our trip special. His service and attention to detail were incredible. We can’t thank him enough!
