Dec 03, 2025Best specialty drinks!
Eduardo and Jesus in the preferred bar made our stay so enjoyable! They always had a smile for us and made the best drinks! When we got bored with our usual drinks they made special drinks and shots we had never heard of before that were amazing! We will definitely consider coming back to this resort specifically because of how special they made us feel on Thanksgiving and being there for our honeymoon!! Eduardo better wear the turkey hat we gave him next Thanksgiving!!!

Vacation
We had an amazing vacation at the Secrets Riviera Cancun: Nov 21- 29th. The resort staff are amazing, and the property was clean and well looked after. We had 2 rooms for our family and had no issues (cleaned daily, fridge re-stocked and A/C working). We ate at every restaurant and the food was delicious at each one (including the buffet and room service). The pools were busy, but we were always able to get a spot. There were tons of activities, shows and things to do between Breathless and Secrets. The staff really are fantastic here and will make sure you always have a drink in hand and are well looked after.

Great vacation for our first time in Mexico. The positives were that the service pool side was great as Edwin and Polo were very attentive to your every need and were very helpful. Bar service around the resort was fantastic as you didn’t have to wait very long for a drink which keeps you in the mood to party. The entertainment crew pool side were great as well with a shout out to Luis and Andres who did what they could to get people involved in the daily activities. Now the negative…we had Preferred Club but honestly other than the quiet pool, not quite sure what I paid extra for. Could have stayed at Breathless and had the same great trip for a lot less money. The only morning that we decided to stay in and have room service for breakfast was on my wife’s 50th birthday in which we had to wait 2 1/2 hours to receive it. After ordering from the app we had to call room service after an hour and they had no record of the order. So we ordered again and they said it would be there in 35 mins. After 45 mins we called again and they said it was on the way and after another 45 mins it finally showed up with part of our order missing. They did try to fix it with dropping off a bottle of wine and strawberries but that didn’t give us back the time we lost from being at the pool. Overall it was a great week but would definitely not pay the money to stay at Secrets again as there are zero upgraded amenities that they keep referring to.

Wonderful Honeymoon Experience with Exceptional Staff
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and overall we had an amazing stay, especially thanks to the incredible staff who truly elevated the entire experience. We did hit one snag at the very beginning: there was no transfer waiting at the airport, so we had to take an Uber. Unfortunately, rideshares aren’t allowed there, which made the arrival a bit chaotic. Once we finally arrived at the resort, though, everything turned around. The entertainment was fantastic. The first fire show had a rocky start, the DJ and sax player seemed to be fighting for control, but the second show on the beach was absolutely incredible. Completely different vibe, beautifully done, and worth seeing. The Magic show was amazing as well as the female dancing show. A few people genuinely made our stay unforgettable: • Mani – helpful, friendly, and always welcoming. • Pedro – he spent almost an hour teaching my husband volleyball after the game was already over. The patience and kindness were next level. • Gabriela at The Nook – made the best caramel frappe I’ve ever had and was so genuinely sweet every single morning. • Yesenia at Rosewater Breakfast – warm, attentive, and made sure we always started our day well taken care of. • Victor at the Pool – incredibly helpful and on top of everything. • Brown Sugar - amazing at keeping everyone energized, engaged, and excited for activities. HIS positivity was contagious. I was pregnant during our honeymoon, and I can’t say enough about how safe, supported, and cared for I felt. The team went out of their way to accommodate me, and their non-alcoholic drinks were genuinely delicious. The only thing I personally didn’t love was the perfume-infused toilet paper, it completely threw off my pH balance. But aside from that, everything else was wonderful. Overall, even with a couple of hiccups, the service, entertainment, and staff made our trip truly memorable. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and grateful for everyone who helped make our honeymoon special.

Amazing
Would definitely come here again. 10/10 honestly on everything offered. Bartenders made exceptional drinks and the food in the buffet was delicious. Also thoroughly enjoyed the activities like rnb karaoke. Keep doing what you’re doing.
