  Absolutely perfect!

  Location! A very beautiful beach. We did the preferred which provided extra restaurant and beautiful pools exclusive. Our Butler Ismeal was amazing. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and he made it extra special. Weather was gorgeous, friendly and enthusiatic servers, bartenders etc made it so fun! We enjoyed this experience ! Will go back!

  Amazing Resort

  My husband and I had a truly wonderful stay at Secrets Punta Cana. The resort was incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and eager to make our experience memorable. One of our favorite activities was the cocktail-making class—it was such a fun and engaging experience! We also loved that the resort celebrated festive holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas during our stay; it added an extra touch of magic and made the trip feel even more special. Any time we had a request or needed something, the response was prompt and helpful. Outstanding Staff Members: • Ismael, our butler, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. His positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine care for our experience stood out from day one. He was our number one employee, and if we could give him a million 5-star reviews, we would. • The hostess at Olio (we wish we remembered her name!) was absolutely delightful. She sang every time we saw her, brought so much joy into the space, and even taught us a bit of Spanish. She was usually working during the preferred breakfast and lunch hours. • Junior and Franklin made the cocktail-making class unforgettable. Their energy, professionalism, and humor made the activity a highlight of our trip. While we truly enjoyed our stay, I want to share one part of our experience that was disappointing. We attended a Hyatt Club presentation that was pitched as a simple, no-obligation 90-minute session. Our original sales representative and manager respected our decision when we declined the offer. However, things changed when someone introduced as a Hyatt Corporate Manager came over. After we had already said no multiple times, he continued pushing the sale so aggressively that we felt uncomfortable and trapped—enough that we were prepared to walk out and give up the spa voucher just to get away from the situation. Ultimately, he relented, but immediately afterward a blonde woman approached us and began trying to sell us another package. When we questioned it, she denied it completely. At that point, we walked out entirely. We later spoke with a manager at the front desk who helped resolve the issue and provided the spa voucher. Despite that, this experience left a very negative impression. Because of that encounter, we will never consider becoming Hyatt Club members, and I highly recommend that future guests skip the presentation altogether. It simply isn’t worth the time or frustration. Aside from that one incident, the resort itself and the majority of the staff were exceptional. We truly appreciated the beauty, hospitality, and attention to detail throughout the property. If not for the aggressive sales pitch experience, our stay would have been perfect.

  Front desk

  Location is great, as with almost everything else. My first time at a resort, and wasn’t happy with the amount of time we had to stand at the check-in desk, for over 30 minutes while a part of our group was not feeling well. It was a very slow, lousy start to vacation, should’ve stuck with air bnb

  Great stay @ Secrets

  We have stayed in Secrets Royal Beach for two weeks in November 2025. This hotel was great. The room was large and very clean thanks to VASILIA our Maid who did a fantastic job! The beds were comfortable and the linen fresh. We asked for a tropical view and that’s what we got. The grounds were immaculate and the maintenance team were constantly keeping things tidy for the guests. The staff were very happy and polite. A big shout out to YOYO at the quiet pool who was very attentive and made sure we had drinks when we needed them. ALEXANDER in the Rendezvous Bar was also great, he was very good at his job, knew his way around the bar and the drinks well and was very chatty with a great smile. The food at this hotel was probably the best we have ever had at an all inclusive. The buffet had an extensive range and a lot of items were cooked fresh to order, again the staff were excellent. The restaurants were of a very high standard and the quality and choice of food were excellent so were the staff. There isn’t. booking system, you just turn up and if they don’t have space they give you a buzzer and call you when they are ready for you. The entertainment was exactly that, entertaining. There were a variety of acts with very talented members who did a fabulous job. Coming from the UK we were here for two weeks and even though the acts rotated on a weekly basis they were still slightly different the second time and it was actually nice to see them again. The beach was lovely and the sea warm, there are vendors trying to sell you stuff but they go away soon enough if you just give them a polite “No thank you”. All in all a great holiday and we willl definitely be using secrets again! Take mosquito repellent as they are prolific!

  Relaxing stay at Secrets Royal Beach

  Lovely stay at Secrets Royal beach. Stayed for 11 nights at the end of November and it was just what we needed. The room was spacious and comfy and house keeping service was excellent. One small issue was that the shampoo wasn't filled up when it was empty however we asked a member of staff in the corridor and they were more than happy to help. Pool area was lovely, and plenty of beds available while we were there. The entertainment team were great during the day and ran aqua spinning, zumba and aqua aerobics which was fun. A particular highlight was Vincente who kept us hydrated around the pool, he was very friendly to chat to and his drinks service was excellent. The same can be said for Maria S in the showtime bar in the evenings, she was great and it was a pleasure to chat each day with her and Vincente. We're beach people so particularly enjoyed the sun loungers there and having the beach bar so close. Again the staff at the beach bar were very friendly and offered great service. To be honest every member of staff we encountered were genuinely happy and always very friendly. The beach is lovely and the sea was pleasant to swim in, yes there's seaweed but the resort does a great job at keeping that under control. Yes there are beach vendors constantly coming round with goods and services, but you could see they were licensed and if you just say a polite no thank you they don't push, so I wouldn't say it's an issue, and if you do fancy buying something or having a massage on the beach, I could see that they were friendly with the people they were interacting with. Good was excellent throughout, the breakfast buffet was extensive and there really is something for everyone. The most disappointing food was the barefoot grill at lunch which served basic burgers, hot dogs and nachos. However for the convenience to not leave the beach or pool area, it's enough. If you want a better selection then you're better going to the buffet. We did enjoy the pool side bbqs when they had those, particularly the huge fresh tuna the chef had and would grill in front of you. So much choice for dinner and never really had to wait more than 45mins for a table in the speciality restaurants. I think our favourite was the Asian, the sushi was so fresh and well prepared, and the menu had a lot of delicious dishes. The shows in the evening were great and well put together, if you are here for more than 7 nights then be prepared to see the same show twice. During our stay the nightclub was being renovated so that was closed, however the dj brought the party down to the plaza which was fun. We're casino people anyway so tended to go there after the show and then to the sports bar in Dreams which was always a fun atmosphere. Overall a great stay and I would recommend this hotel for a luxurious all inclusive stay to relax and unwind. We've stayed at places like this before so didn't participate in all the sales pitches for holiday clubs and privileged club etc, don't waste your time unless you want these things. We were more than happy with our room and the stay and just enjoyed the facilities and relaxed.
