Dec 10, 2024I could get used to this
The staff made us feel very special, anticipating and fulfilling our every need. There were plenty of "free" food and drink provided with a smile. This was the friendliest and most helpful staff I have encountered in my 20 years of world travel. We were able to use US dollars, and all charges were made to the room, so that we absolutely had no need to carry money, except for (optional) tipping. Our room was fairly ordinary but clean. The fridge absolutely did not work, so I guess it was just a place to store the water, beer and punch provided daily. The soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion were luxurious. The hotel practiced sustainability in the use of water (don't drink from the tap!) and linens. There were several pools and the grounds were gorgeously landscaped. Of course, when we checked in the desk clerk tried to upsell us to a "preferred" room and experience for $210 per person per night, but that was to be expected. On Thursday night there was a lovely buffet on the beach with delicious and plentiful food, beautifully decorated tables, live music, etc. I was amazed at the variety of food served throughout our stay of 5 days/4 night purchased through Costco travel.

Amazing time minus security issues
I would like to start by saying that El Sexy was amazing. The customer service he provided went beyond what I had expected, and I wish I could bring the food home because it was amazing. On the other hand, the security system of the hotel is horrible. Based on the rules, we had to be in the room to give our trays to the workers during tray collection. When my significant other and I left our room pool, we noticed the trays were missing, meaning someone came into the room and took them without alerting us. On another occasion, We ordered an iron and canceled it because we had to attend a dinner reservation. Returning from dinner, I noticed that the iron was in our room. This means that someone came into the room twice without our knowledge, even though we were sure to ensure the rooms to the balcony and the front door were always locked. To make matters worse, the anniversary gift I purchased for my significant other, a black Sony camera, went missing from the room. We contacted the hotel, and they said they would get back to us in 24 hours. It’s been more than 24 hours, and we still have not received any information.

Very nice all inclusive. The resort is very large. It is easy to get turned around. Staff members are very nice. It is nice that a shuttle will take you to a mall. Beautiful ground. Very nice to have a butler to arrange events. Lots of restaurants on site with special events on the beach

Enjoyed our week stay at Secrets, but showing it's age; could use some upkeep for the rooms. Often accessed Dreams side for restaurants, coffee bar, waterslides, pools - limited perks on the Secrets side at this location. Rock Show was awful, but Queen and Dominican show (Secrets side) were great. Good drink service at the shows though.

Phenomenal experience
My entire experience was amazing. The staff was attentive. My highlight was the Asian restaurant! Daury the chef was phenomenal! The food was amazing! Best hibachi! My waiter was excellent I forgot his name but he brought me a birthday cake (Lia) thank you for a great end to our trip. 20 guest reserved for dinner and only myself and my husband showed up! What are the odds? it was meant to be ❤️✨🙏🏾
