  Awesome Anniversary Trip

  Great spot, great beach, great staff and awesome food. Variety of food and don’t skip the romantic dinners. It is totally worth it!

  Bad reservation...missed first class plane reservation...paid for

  Unfortunately, an inexcusable error. After booking first class flight, anloy part of the flight was 1st class, and the rest was economy.... multiple excuses no resolve.

  Way too expensive

  Food was awful, rooms were good but not great. Pretty clean. Honestly not worth the price at all. Reminded me of a low tier cruise.

  Punta Cana 2026

  We had a great 2 weeks at SRB! It had been 3 years since we were last here & it felt like coming home. Ruben, our Unlimited Vacation Club rep from 3 years ago arranged for us to stay in an oceanfront room, despite the hotel being at full capacity. Although the room had 2 double beds, the view was lovely. Alberto was our butler and was a pleasure to meet each day. He was helpful with making a couple of dinner reservations & was readily available if we needed something. We spent most of our days at the preferred pool or the beach near the preferred bar. Loungers were comfortable & the bartenders were great. We’ve been to a number of Secrets and Dreams Resorts and haven’t always had to deal with the chair game, but that is not the case here, which is somewhat disappointing. It takes the relaxing out of mornings. We enjoyed all of the food at the restaurants, but especially enjoyed Blue Water Grill. Their onion loaf, ribeye and baked Alaska were delicious! We preferred to eat breakfast at Olio. Unfortunately, the restaurants use a buzzer system in the evenings. If we didn’t arrive within 20 minutes of a restaurant opening, we had to often wait for up to an hour (sometimes longer). Most other Dreams and Secrets Resorts don’t have the buzzer system and we’ve been able to walk right into a restaurant. I know I run the risk of missing employees, however here are a number who stood out to us: Carlos A, the teppanyaki chef, was a great chef & entertainer. Chandra (hostess at Olio), who we remembered from our past stay in 2023, greeted us every morning with song and smile. Her joy radiates to the guests. We also remembered Julio A. from our stay in 2023. He exemplified customer service then and continues to be a top notch employee. Julio D (I think his initial is D) was always cheerful & greeted us in a special manner. Sammy at the preferred bar always gave a sweet greeting to us with his warm smile, asking how we’re doing and how the previous night had been. Such a sweet man! The entire staff at the Drifters was fantastic, always cheerful, willing to talk, help me practice Spanish. Rosa, Fany Luz Algeny, Sebastian, Qbispo & Vicente (happy happy) were also top-notch servers & bartenders. Jonathan and Lawrence were also fantastic bartenders at the preferred bar. Always cheerful despite the heat and long walks to the Drifter pool bar. Pamela is the sweetest girl in the lobby/Rendezvous. She is full of energy & her smile radiates the room. Despite being only 19, she displays a fantastic work ethic. There is a beautiful boardwalk connecting the separate Dreams sections. Beautiful birds and many turtles can be seen along the walk. It is lighted in the evening, definitely worth the walk.

  Great place

  We had a great experience at Secrets Royal Beach! The food and drinks were great! Angel and Melvin were so attentive to our needs and wants at the pool! Rooms were clean. We asked several times for more water in the room but didn’t receive. That being said we could get water at any of the restaurants, bars and cafe.
