  Poor service

  Nice location. Great drinks good average. Service stinks unless you give them a tip. I had no cash. Would have tipped at the end but not now.

  Secrets is a NEVER again

  1. Service is very slow. 2. The fire alarm went off 3 nights in a row. I raised hell to change to a different building. 3. Food selection is limited & only room services for after 10pm food. 4. Food is very good 5. Rooms are normal for carribean but the fire alarm get them a 1 star on room. 6. Entertainment is ok but service is slow as is all the services. 7. They also let aggressive people seel anything on the beach. 8. The island is absolutely beautiful! Breathtaking is one word to sum it up. 9. Resort is small for 300 rooms but very nice & clean.

  It was a very fun vacation for my wife and I!

  My wife and I had a great time there the first week of October 2026. We had a swim-out room not far from the pools and we really enjoyed that room location within the resort. It was great having our own little section of the swim-out pool that we could relax in each evening before bed. All of the pools were well-maintained and cleaned regularly. The swim-up bar in the main pool was where we spent a lot of our time. We met so many fun and nice people there. We were really impressed with the quality of the clientele overall. We were a little surprised that it was almost exclusively American guests, at least the week we were there. Allison, the main bartender at the pool bar, took excellent car of us. She was certainly hustling as she was normally the only bartender working the pool bar. We would have benefited by having an additional bartender, but I know we weren't there during a peak week so perhaps they didn't feel it was justified. The noise at the pool got a little high as the day went on but honestly it never bothered us. People that are noise-sensitive should probably purchase the premium package where you have your own pool that is a little lower energy. The views from the premium pool area were fantastic. The food was very good. My favorite restaurant was the hibachi. The Italian was also very good but my wife is Italian and is an incredible cook so I have very high standards in that area. The week certainly was a little pricey but we really had a great time so I'm not complaining.

  Did not have a great experience.

  There was poor communication at the very beginning of the stay. The room they put us in. They reported it being and Ocean view however this was not the case. There was a hostess in the Asian restaurant that only catered to The Caucasian guest regarding their meals and services. She inquired from individuals that were sitting down prior to me arriving to eat my meal, she inquired from individuals that entered after I received my meal, and she never checked in on my partner and I. I informed the managers of the situation regarding the restaurant. I’m not sure what was the outcome

  Happy staff, beautiful food and stunning views

  I booked Secrets for my 40th Birthday, it was also mine and my husband’s first child-free holiday. We arrived in St Lucia, the airport is small so makes it’s quick and easy to get your luggage and be on your way. I wish I’d booked an alternative to the shuttle transfer, after already travelling 15 hours the 1.5hour drive through the windy roads was not ideal, but I got to see beautiful views and the authentic parts of St Lucia so for that I am grateful. Upon arrival we were expecting a warm welcome, as we’ve seen on Secrets social media etc people being greeted with a fresh flannel and a drink, we did not get this privilege, although when we were checking out all new arrivals were met with this service. We were checked in and had to pay a $200 deposit, something I have never had to do and would not expect in such an exclusive resort. That was October 3rd, we left October 10th and this amount has not yet been refunded. I was very happy with our room, the view was absolutely stunning of the beautiful gardens and the sea, I felt we had a perfect location in room 321. We were close enough to everything but far enough from the noise in the nights. I was greeted in our room with a bottle of wine and a happy birthday sweet treat, very grateful for this. Our cleaner Donna was a lovely lady. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh sheets and towels. Half way through the week our gowns were replaced with clean ones. We noticed a couple of days our fridge was not replenished but this didn’t cause us any bother as we only really used the bottles of water. Room service was okay, on our second night it was very rainy and we were exhausted so we stayed in, portions were good. We really enjoyed the entertainment, beach volleyball was always a lot of fun and the doll making task was great. We had a brilliant time at the silent disco! Drinks are very good, you can explain at any bar what sort of cocktail you want and they will custom make it. We loved Alison who worked at the pool bar, what a wonderful woman.. her dirty banana cocktail will knock your socks off! Also, Samuel in the tapas/crepe place was very happy and enthusiastic, he was an absolute delight. Aaron and Ronie were really fun around the pool and volleyball. The coffee shop was one of our favourites for our iced lattes every morning and afternoon. They had a large selection of syrups and coffee options. We mainly had breakfast had the buffet which was always nice, staff were always friendly and bubbly. We loved seeing the cats there. Lunch would vary, we enjoyed tapas but sometimes went to the buffet. Each day is a different theme, our favourite was Jamaican, the curry goat was perfect! Italian in the evening was outstanding, we were not crazy for the morgan pier restaurant. It was very busy, service was slightly slower due to this which meant food wasn’t very hot. It gets so humid and hot sitting there also, I had to leave before finishing my meal as it was far too stuffy. Again, staff were great and work so hard. Our favourite meals in the evening were at the seaside grill, the steak was incredible! We ate at Oceana once, we did not return. Staff and food there were not like the rest of the resort unfortunately. The foam party was a lot of fun, the speak easy is a must! Secrets resort is beautiful but without the staff it would be just that. The staff go above and beyond, we were made to feel welcome, I was complimented daily about my outfits etc. they were truly so lovely. One thing I would’ve changed was the booking of our excursions. Upon arrival I asked at check in where we can book, we were pointed in the direction of a desk in the lobby. The next morning we discovered a few independent companies on the beach, I would’ve preferred to give them my business than a big corporate company. Joy is the man do deal with, he is a wonderful family man who is passionate about getting you the very best at the best prices. Even though we’d booked within the hotel we still built a beautiful friendship with Joy, he even brought us fresh mangos from his home. Please go see joy, he will brighten up your day. Overall we had a fantastic time and would likely return. The pitons excursion is a must! We went to the Friday night street party but returned in a taxi an hour later as it was extremely loud and busy.
