We booked our stay with Secrets Tides on July 17 2025. On October 8th we were notified that they had overbooked and that our Vacation was cancelled. They offered us our money back or we could switch to Secrets Royal Beach for the same price. Prices on vacations had increased substantially over the 3 months and we could not change our dates so we opted to take the Royal Beach deal even though we were just there the previous January. We did ask for an upgrade but were refused. We later found out that Secrets Tides cancelled many reservations to accommodate for a large group function. We can't believe 3 months after booking they have the nerve to cancel a customers reservation just to make a few extra bucks and offer nothing for the inconvenience. The Secrets brand should not allow this to happen. We are very hesitant to book at any Secrets resort in the future due to this outragous incedent. Be warned they may do it again to you Tim and Angela Cosstick

Service was perfect. Our butler was Milciades who took care of every detail upon arrival and departure. When we asked for anything, it was in our room within a matter of minutes. He was beyond helpful and most pleasant. The hotel is stunning. The rooms were spacious. We had a swim out pool that was just beautiful.

Francisco at Desires sports bar was fantastic. The full resort is beautiful and a great place to stay.

Perfect Girls Getaway
This resort stay exceeded our expectations!! The location was beautiful, the grounds were impeccable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I was impressed by how much staff this resort had and it made all the difference. Food and beverage was always nearby, the spa ladies were professional, and the entertainment staff always went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying their stay. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of our stay!

Great Caribbean Resort
Francisco at the sports bar is amazing providing great service with a smile. Clean resort with great staff and an amazing beach. All around good time.
