Sep 14, 2026Stunning Resort, Even Better Service!
Visited Secrets Tides for my anniversary for a 5 night stay and had the most amazing time. The staff is the absolute best part. Everyone is so genuinely sweet, has a positive attitude, and is very attentive. Everyone greets you in the mornings and makes a sincere effort to get to know you. Rosemary was an absolute gem, amazing service from the second I arrived to the second I left! Suejeidi in the preferred bar was amazing!! She always went out of her way to make sure I loved my drink! Juan, Jorddy, other Jourdy, Jhonathan, Zunilda, and all the ladies at the preferred pool were the absolute best along with Elias!! My butler Shadai was always there when we needed him and made our anniversary very special! Could not ask for a better service experience. We booked a preferred master room suite and it was absolutely stunning. The pools were very large and very warm even though they aren't heated. They let you have floaties and a speaker. There is always music playing at the pools, which was nice because I was nervous it would be a quiet resort, but it had an area for everyone. The beach had sargassum — nothing they can do about that. Food will be hit or miss, but that's to be expected; ask the servers what they recommend at each place. Go to Tierra, it's the best restaurant! The food truck is also really good and so is preferred lunch. Avoid Oceana for dinner. The Italian restaurant has some great options! I personally didn't like the Asian restaurant, but I didn't try hibachi. Overall, I enjoyed most meals! I would absolutely return to this resort, and sooner rather than later, because some wear is starting to show. If you drink top shelf liquor, prefer being in AC, and enjoy the additional benefits, then preferred club is worth it! Thank you again to all the amazing staff!

We just arrived at Secret Tides Punta Cana. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff are extremely pleasant and kind! We opted for the Preferred Club, which seemed like an excellent compromise, except that the pool reserved for Club members is under construction with a constant jackhammer noise! We would have liked to have been informed before paying the extra fee for the Preferred Club! We understand that the hotel needs to continue improving, but the least they could do is warn guests that they won't be able to enjoy what they've purchased as I have ask this spécific questions : Any rénovation or construction during my stay ! Answer : No not at All !!!!

Excellent couple experience!
My husband and I recently visited Secrets Tides to celebrate our 10th anniversary! We could not have picked a better place and we highly recommend for any couple who truly wants to have an amazing time together! From the moment we entered the property, we were greeted with excellent hospitality, which continued throughout our entire visit! From the bell man Francisco who welcomed us to “his castle,” to Eurin who checked us into our room with a warm and sincere smile and service, to our phenomenal Butler Shadai who provided excellent customer service and made all our reservations, to the phenomenal ENTERTAINMENT team, we were truly at home! Everyone made us feel like we were truly family and the most important people there. Mayra is absolutely one of a kind and the best!!! She did her best to make sure we were at every event she possibly could. Even when we didn’t plan to attend, she was so excited to invite us that we ended up going and then was so happy we did. Mayra truly knows how to provide excellent entertainment and keep everyone dancing. In addition to her wonderful Entertainment skills, there were so many others as well that were so phenomenal… Gregory, Tedi, Stephanie, Mileidy, Jacob, Erica and so many others were all so awesome! They made our trip memorable! Also, Yubrina and Jordy in the main lobby lounge were the best at their services! Also, Rudy, Frederick, Josefa, Ronald and everyone were all phenomenal! I cannot forget the lovely pregnant lady in the Meraki restaurant who always greeted and served us with love. The fact that we remember all these names (which usually I am horrible with) goes to show the difference these staff made. As a result of the excellent service and friendships formed throughout our stay, we will absolutely be back and maybe with other couples next time so we can share the wonderful experiences we’ve had. Get you a butler!
Our butler Andrea, as well as an abundance of staff like Rosemary, Magna, Alexandra, Suejeidi, any and everyone in the preferred club, the preferred pool, they're all amazing!! But there’s something about being on vacation and having someone as lovely as Andrea to help coordinate you when all you want to do is not think, she has all the best ideas and recommendations. Andrea went above and beyond for our trip and we won’t forget her. She is a pure delight!
