Best birthday
Great experience, great food, awesome entertainment. I would highly recommend staying here. Also very clean the staff really put a lot of effort into making sure everything is absolutely clean. I’ve never seen a staff crew work so hard!

VIP Experience
We had an absolute amazing time at Secrets! Fernando Mena ensured our stay was amazing. He ensured all of our requests were met and went above and beyond. Enrique with food and beverage ensure our meals were top notch he checked on us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The Beach club staff Ivonne was amazing, she ensured we had everything we needed while there Portofino was a great add to Secrets Tulum. The staff was amazing and the food was 5 stars. We did request a special dining menu that did not disappoint. Bluewater has gotten better and better each stay. No complaints. We had an absolutely VIP experience from beginning to end. We left feeling like family.

Gorgeous resort and relaxing ease for first time all-inclusive couple
This was our first time at an all-inclusive so we didn't quite know what to expect! We had a really lovely time at the resort and would highly recommend if you: - want to relax by beautiful pools (there's 3 main pools to choose from that each have a diff vibe + a rooftop pool, though there's no hot tubs) - want the option to go to the beach but stay in a quieter part of tulum (the 15 minute shuttle to the beach is easy and actually fun to see more of the area) - have an extremely helpful staff with excellent entertainment options on-site - want an AI experience without it feeling too elitist or bougie - we found this very approachable as folks who had not done this before! A few things to note: - the best meals were the specialty ones before the live shows (pre-hispanic show, asado), but otherwise we loved Bluewater Grill the most of the restaurants - room service was not very good, we only used once - take advantage of the late night Coco cafe - they have dessert options at night which was darling! - we tipped the staff generously each day and they were very appreciative - including a $20 to the front desk on the last day and they were so grateful because that role rarely gets tipped we think - we are a queer couple, one of us is gender nonconforming. the staff were very blasé about this but other guests tended to stare. we met 4 other queer couples during our stay though which was nice <3 - the beach has no umbrellas but there's a shaded area. get there on the early end if you need shade!

Best bartenders
Carlos and oxbaldo have amazing customer service and make very creative drinks. They are the BEST bartenders on the entire resort, be sure to visit them at the bar in the lobby.
