Sensira was awesome - Adult pool, amazing food
We got great weather, top grade food and service. As a couple, there were a lot of children and small families but the resort is large enough that you can avoid them and find adult-only options...the restaurants were easy to access, no reservation in many cases required if only a couple. We would consider this resort again

Family Vacation 2025
We spent a week at Sensira Resort and Spa and had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful. The food is excellent and service was top notch. Eva was a gem as well as many of the other staff. The evening shows were great. The kids had a great time at the pools, trampolines and zip lining. We utilized the spa and had a phenomenal massage for the two of us and are young children. Definitely an experience. We had wonderful vacation and would love to return.

Enjoyable Stay Thanks to Staff, But Several Missed Opportunities
We recently stayed at Sensira Resort & Spa. While several staff members were exceptional and there were great moments, the overall experience was affected by inconsistent service, communication issues, and operational challenges. What We Loved: Outstanding Staff Diego (Front): Above and beyond. Helped with local recommendations, coordinated with our driver, and treated our family with genuine warmth. Buffet team: Irving, Eva, Javier & Diego (also Eduardo from the Italian restaurant m) were consistently kind, attentive, and welcoming. Entertainment team: Luis (amazing with our kids), Samantha, Elisa & the dancers brought great energy. Excursion desk: Roberto and Graciela were honest, helpful, and never pushy. Spa: Great experience with Juanpa, Ofelia & Sandra. Tea House: Roberto was patient, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Pool service (last day): Jacobo was incredibly attentive, efficient, and kind. Kids Activities: Zipline, rock climbing, mini-golf, nightly movies, shows, and a functional Kids Club. What Needs Improvement Food & Service Inconsistencies Poolside service was extremely slow (1 hour to order + 1 hour to receive food). Breakfast “rotation” meant bacon, hash browns, and sausages were only available during specific hours and never together. Items like green tea and guacamole often ran out and weren’t replenished. Several buffet stations were closed, and variety was limited. Cabanas & Towels No system for cabanas—people reserved them overnight without enforcement. Pool towels often unavailable after 6 PM. Coupon & Restaurant Confusion A $50 coupon couldn’t be used as expected (shrimp “sold out” but a non-coupon shrimp offered only at extra cost). We ended up not using the coupon and just ordered from the all-inclusive menu. Dress code for the adult-only restaurant wasn’t communicated when booking (Jorge handled it kindly). Check-In & Mixed Messages We weren’t told about included spa/restaurant credits. Mixed policies (e.g., one day no straws for environmental reasons, next day straws with drinks). Sometimes water bottles were available; sometimes not. Beach Condition Seaweed and even some garbage were not cleaned, making the beach unusable on several days. Last-Day Breakfast Issue Miscommunication about carrying food out of the buffet led to an unnecessarily uncomfortable interaction with staff. Overall Sensira has wonderful staff and great potential, but inconsistent service, lack of communication, shortages, and maintenance issues affected our stay. With better organization—especially around food service, cabanas, beach upkeep, and consistent messaging—the resort could offer a much improved experience

Beware of food poisoning
Over 15 of us were severely sick with stomach issues in early December 2025. I believe this was due to not just the water but the poor sanitary conditions of the food. The people working there were fantastic. The rooms were clean and updated and the facility was in good order however, the food as well as the watered down alcohol, did not make it worth paying for an all inclusive.

Loved it here. Ana needs a raise.
The sunrise view from our room was absolutely beautiful. Ana at the Rodeo Grill was wonderful—she’s very sweet, efficient, and quick. The housekeeping staff also did an excellent job keeping our room very clean. We really appreciated the great service. Noise from the entertainment wasn’t so bad. Lobby bar was quick at drinks. 100% would come again.
