    Our Paradise

We have been staying at Seven Stars since 2011, and it is a beautiful resort. The grounds are immaculate, and the location is ideal. There are 4 restaurants on site, and they are all excellent. The staff is very friendly, and after staying here for many years, they are like family to us. We would like to acknowledge the following people who took the best care of us during our last stay…Charles who served our food and drinks on the beach. Fresnel who set up our favorite spot on the beach. Michel who serviced our room. Lasantha for turndown service. Shanadia, Chana, Carlos, Larikka, Nellie, Carolyn, and Renis our breakfast crew. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We will see you soon!

Most comfortable sun beds , great rooms and location

The rooms are modern and very comfortable, with a ocean view stunning , The pool areas , especially the adult only pool , are quiet , with very comfortable sun beds ( put this hotel way ahead of the ritz Carlton ) The farm restaurant is a excellent choice for a breakfast and lunch . The Deck and seven restaurant are below par , otherwise it’s a very good resort that we would love to come back to

    Truly a 5-star experience

Fantastic resort. The place is exactly what it promises -- great rooms, great beach, and included perks like a solid buffet breakfast, water sport equipment, even a Hobie that you can either use yourself or go on with their guide. The concierge was then great at helping to set up airport transfer and excursions, all priced appropriately and all worth doing, and the food was solid. The FARM is by far the best food. But SEVEN was good, and the by-the-beach, at-the-beach, and in-room menu are all good as well. You can easily walk to town for yet more options, but we didn't find anything we liked better than the on-resort options. And ... well, the resort really came through for us, and we had a great time. As for excursions, definitely go snorkeling off a boat at the reef; and sign up for a glass-bottom kayak tour of the mangroves and sea turtles.

    Almost Paradise

They say nothing is perfect, but this place comes pretty close. The location is excellent, the beach is beautiful, and the staff members are very helpful. I appreciated the little extras that they surprise you with: welcome rum punch at check-in, bottle of pinot grigio in the room, smoothie sample at the pool. We will return!

Beautiful views and beaches, great service, could use some modernizing.

My family of 5 (3 kids ages 19, 18, 13) just returned from Seven Stars. I like to give a thorough review, so I hope this helps. First, when you arrive to T&C airport, there is the option to purchase a Sky Pass in advance that lets you bypass the long customs lines at arrival and departure. It's $65 per person, so I decided to pass on spending $325 for a family of 5 as I read that arriving/departing on weekdays shouldn't be too bad. The line for customs arrival was about an hour and the same for departures. On weekends, I'm told the wait is up to 90 minutes or more, so maybe then it would make sense. You should be aware that taxis are $16.50 per person for a 10-15 minute ride. Round trip drive to one restaurant (da Conch Shack) on our first night was $165 plus tip! That restaurant was great - - they have a big beach party and fire show on Wednesday nights, so it was packed and service VERY slow, but fun. The island itself was just very expensive compared to other island destinations. My best estimate is T&C is about 25% more money for resort, food, excursions, etc. compared to any other beach destination we've been to. Yes, the beaches are beautiful and the water is lovely. But be aware that you'll be spending alot for meals and any excursions. As far as the resort goes: We were greeted at the resort with rum punch and Ms. Vernis went over our room and the resort. She was lovely and very thorough. Our 3 br ocean view suite was lovely, spacious, and with high-end finishes, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and 3 balconies. The view was phenomenal. It's clear they updated the room fairly recently. The resort itself was a bit tired overall. The resort consisted mostly of families. The family pool was often full of parents and very young children (all under age 8). The adult pool was for ages 18+. The pools were fine, but the adult pool was pretty small. The family pool was bigger, but not modern. No jacuzzi or hot tub anywhere. No music playing outside. It was a very quiet vibe and not "upbeat" which was fine but some music or lively daytime feel would have been nice. Service at the pools or beach was great. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or food at all, and Lila did a great job making sure we had whatever food/drink we wanted. There were no issues finding a lounge chair, which was nice. You didn't have to go save your seat at 7am, which we've had to do at other resorts. Housekeeping was great - no issues with cleanliness of the room at all. Included Breakfast: fine, but not on par with what you're paying for this resort. It was a step up from a Holiday Inn-type breakfast. There was 1 omelet station. Other foods included about 6 different cold cereal choices, fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, a potato, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, waffles or pancakes, something savory (from the prior night's dinner), and a variety of breads, mini muffins. You could order smoothies, but those were $10 each. By the 4th morning, we were tired of the same things at the buffet. I didn't use the spa but it looked fine. The fitness center was fine. It had 4 or 5 treadmills, 2 bikes, 1 elliptical, and dumbbells, some weight machines. We ate dinner at The Farm at the resort one night and it was very good. Other restaurants we tried were Sui Ren at The Shore Club, Casa Nonna at the Ritz-Carlton, the Conch Shack, and Grace's Cottage. All were very good - way better than the all-inclusive type places. Sui Ren was one of the best restaurants I've ever dined at. Grace's Cottage was also very good. The beaches were very nice, and of course the water is amazing. But again, it's very expensive. We did an excursion with The Island Boys. My husband and daughter went fishing for 4 hours, which cost $1100. The other 2 kids and I went snorkeling for 3 hours, which was $700. Chris from the Island Boys walks the beach between Seven Stars and Ritz-Carlton next door and it was easy to book with him. Overall, the staff at Seven Stars were well-trained and we had no complaints about service. The beach and view are breathtaking. The resort could use some modernizing and upgrades to remain in their price point.
