    The Best Hotel in San Juan

    Absolutely beautiful and clean hotel in San Juan. Close to El Moro, La Perla, and all the shops and restaurants. Julia at guest services took care of us and treated us like VIP guests. Everyone from the valet to guest services and the restaurants on site are absolutely amazing. They are genuinely warm, welcoming and friendly. The food from breakfast to dinner is spectacular. And the views from the rooms are breathtaking. Don’t forget the pool on the rooftop absolutely calming with spectacular views.

    Great hotel and staff!!!

    This hotel is conveniently near many different attractions that can satisfy every family member young and old. The rooms are spacious and well maintained- amazing view too. The staff are super friendly and very professional- I was very happy with our stay and definitely will stay here on our next visit to PR!!!

    Hotel Rumbao San Juan Puerto Rico

    Excellent hotel. Great location if you are heading out on a cruise from Puerto Rico, directly across from cruise terminal. Centrally located for walking tour of old San Juan & the forts there. Close to many local restaurants within walking distance. Hotel restaurant Keuros is very good. Ate breakfast each morning, delicious, with a great view of cruise port.

    Highly Hospitable Rumbao!

    We spent couple of days at the Rumbao and experienced high quality service from the establishment. We were arriving before 9 AM on check-in day and had requested early check-in. We were pleasantly surprised to receive confirmation of the room being ready at 8:50 AM. Very pleasant stay and its location is almost central to entire Old City attractions and walking. We also enjoyed the art gallery on the second floor.

    One of my favorites!

    We have been to this hotel numerous times over the years, before and after its conversion to Hotel Rumbao. As a Bonvoy member, we are always made to feel special. It is definitely one of our favorite hotels. The staff here is wonderful! I am sorry that I did not write individual names down but the list would have been so long. The female bartender on evening shift at Kueros, Brandon at front desk, waiters/waitress and hostesses at Kueros all amazing. Management must be as well because the employees always seem very joyful, friendly and accommodating. I was a little disappointed with how pool area looked this past December because the cushions on the pool chairs were moldy/dirty but this was corrected this time around. The rooms are maintained well, spacious and decorated so lovely with local artwork as decor. I also really appreciated the local artwork in the lobby, absolutely beautiful. If I had to change one thing, it would be the rug on the beautiful staircase from the ground floor to the lobby. It never looks clean and this is such a focal point when first arriving at the hotel. I really wish they would have thought of wood or some other textile for the staircase or a more forgiving carpet pattern. I can overlook this. I honestly cannot wait to come back. It really feels like home to me.
