  Just got back from staying at the soco hotel in Barbados what an amazing 10 days great location rooms lovely very clean hot water needs a look at in the showers/ bathrooms. Some of the best staff I’ve come across in a hotel in a long time very attentive 2 of our faves were Shane & Michelle who ran the bar Shane for his cocktails singing dancing & choice of music. Michelle for her warmth knowledge of the island & what can I say about Wednesday morning rum tasting 🤦‍♀️😵‍💫 it’s brilliant she is a little pocket rocket 🫶🏼 food was great menu changed every 2 days don’t be afraid of asking for extra sometimes portions could be a little small specially starters but lunch and dinner are 3 corses. Out of 10 days we only had 1 disappointing meal. If your wanting a small hotel 24 rooms in a great location great staff from the minute you walk though the door I would recommend it thank you soco family your the best 🫶🏼

  Good time!

  We had a great time at the Soco Hotel. The staff was simply lovely. Starting with the front desk agents Sofia and Shaniqua- they went above and beyond to make our trip pleasurable. Trudy our room servicer was always so vibrant and made sure our room was in tip top condition everyday. Shane was the best bartender. He remembered our names from our first meeting and always had a smile on his face. The food was good. The breakfast menu didn't change daily, but the lunch and dinner menu did. So that was a nice treat. It is a small boutique hotel and that worked for us. However, it can get loud from the street noise. So be prepared to wake up early from the traffic outside. The rooms could use some updating and deep cleaning as well. The water pressure isn't high and the water isn't hot. And due to the shower design the water gets on the floor. Overall, our stay was great, the staff was great, and it's a good location right on the boardwalk. The rooms just need some updating and deep cleaning.

  Brilliant 14 night away

  Just arrived back from Soco Hotel. Beautiful place & the Bajans are very friendly & couldn’t do enough for you, esp Michelle & Shane, what a great asset to the hotel, welcoming & very friendly. We had a ground floor room very clean, only thing shower was not very hot neither was the pressure from shower but this didn’t affect our holiday. Restaurant was food was lovely, I am a fussy eater did not find that issue for once. We found the waitress helpful & friendly. Beach was lovely enjoyed the warm water. Pool was warm, pool bar had a lovely look onto the sea Overall if you like a quiet, personal relaxing time away ideal, personally for us it was. We meet some lovely people & had a good laugh. We done the island tour & harbour lights both fantastic trips. Unfortunately our neighbours we found rude, arrogant, complainers & unpleasant people. Never even said good morning (which doesn’t cost nothing) each to their own. The same people whom left their towels on sun bed & a dirty bikini on their gate, left for the staff to pick up.Don’t know what hotel they went to, it couldn’t be the same as ours. Maybe they thought they were above everyone else. On the plus side it did not affect our stay!! Our opinion 4 star from us…

  Where do i start. Just come back from two weeks at the Soco. Had a fantastic break made even more special and memorable by the people we met and the staff. Michelle at the bar a great asset to the hotel,she couldnt do enough for you (my 2nd wife lol ). I loved the rum tasting although the 2nd time i dont remember much about it. Also Shane he was like a breath of fresh air and was always making us laugh. The food was spot on and the waitresses so polite at all times. If i had to pick a fault it would be the shower ,water wasnt very hot and water pressure not to good. Would i go back ? Yes in a heartbeat. Am i going back? Most definite. Thank you for being a part of a wonderful two weeks and contributing to some fantastic memories. Carl

  Another 3 weeks in paradise

  We have spent 3 weeks at SoCo hotel in Barbados and as usual it has been amazing! People ask why after coming here to this hotel 34 times don’t we try another hotel and we tell them that we have everything we need here and it couldn’t get any better. The staff are so efficient and friendly, the food is all cooked to order so it’s like going to a restaurant for every meal, the rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day, what else could you ask for. The hotel is right on the beach and the Hastings Boardwalk starts outside so you can have a beautiful walk with the sea breeze and bars and restaurants right there. The main reason we keep coming back to the SoCo is the staff. Michelle’s Rum tasting is legendary and she will book catamaran trips, shows or anything else you want to do she will give you numbers to ring. The restaurant managers, Clive, Margarita, Lolene are so friendly. The bar staff, Shane, Zac etc. are entertaining and friendly and also provide the best cocktails ever. Front desk staff are so welcoming and helpful. The whole place is full of lovely people which is why we keep returning.
