Every interaction with the staff felt warm, genuine and attentive they go above and beyond to make feel at home. The food at the restaurant was so delicious I enjoy every meal . especially the Mamora bay coffee shop I love the pastry. Waking up to the sound of the ocean on the balcony was breathtaking .

So pleased we went back
We returned to St James Bay for Christmas 2025 having visited previously for New Year 2024. We knew what to expect in terms of fabulous location and spacious comfortable rooms but we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and all round improvements in service and food. A group of 17 is a challenge for most resorts at the busiest time of year. All the staff went out of their way to ensure our every need was met and that we had a perfect stay.

Return Visit - Great time
I am returning to the St James Club for a relaxing time with a "down to earth atmosphere." Our family has always enjoyed the stay here, we mingle with the guests and appreciate the good nature of the helpful staff.. The new general manager Riian, and assit general manager Kersha are responsive and accommodating, as is the rest of the staff. We do the "all inclusive" which gives us access "on the go" to multiple restaurants. I play pickle, tennis, boating on the bay, and swim in the mulitple pools and in the ocean and go to Yoga when it is offered. I feel like I am in camp here.

Loved our stay at The All-Inclusive St. James Club & Villas, Mamora Bay, Antigua and Barbuda— Buy trip insurance.
Loved our stay at The All-Inclusive St. James Club & Villas, Mamora Bay, Antigua and Barbuda— Buy trip insurance. It’s a stunning resort on a private 100-acre peninsula with two white-sand beaches, excellent water sports, pickleball, tennis, four restaurants, multiple bars, spa, pools, and a welcoming Kids Club. We stayed in Room 328, Mango Building (ground floor) and loved the very spacious room and bathroom, walk-in shower, and unobstructed ocean views. Beach chaises outside our room, shaded by a palm pagoda, and attentive beach drink service made it extra special. When our king mattress sagged, the issue was promptly fixed with a replacement—great service. ⚠️ Important travel note: Buy trip insurance at the time you purchase trip to ensure pre-existing conditions are covered. U.S. Medicare and U.S. private insurance plans (including BlueCross) are not accepted internationally. When my husband broke his leg playing pickleball (on resorts modular snap together pickleball court surface also used at many Caribbean resorts for drainage), we were required to pay $950 USD upfront just to be seen by the Doctor at the only hospital in Antigua, which also lacked basic items like crutches and ice packs. Thankfully, the hotel loaned us crutches. Despite the injury, the staff’s compassion and professionalism were extraordinary, making our stay memorable. Special Recognition Management & Guest Services: • Breanne Tonge (Front Desk Agent): Checked on us daily with warmth and energy, ensured everything ran smoothly, and even found a pharmacy so we could replace the hotel’s loaner crutches, which cost $100.00 USD. • Dejani Noel (Guest Services): Infectious personality, checked in daily, and coordinated porter assistance for meals. • Breanne Tonge & Dejani Noel together: Provided truly exemplary service. • Alton Duncan (Front Office Manager): Loaned us crutches and was especially attentive. • Riaan Thiarft (General Manager): We have never met a GM who takes so much pride in his resort, always on hand greeting us guests, not afraid to pull his sleeves up and help out, well done Riaan your hard work has paid off, what a team you have—great leadership. Porters / Bellmen • Michael: Pleasant, fun, and always happy. • Clinton: Awesome, easygoing, and reliable. • Orlando: Helped us daily while my husband was on crutches—absolutely delightful. Food & Beverage • Rainbow Garden Buffet Style: The Maître d’ greeted us daily with a big smile; loved the Nova Scotia salmon and omelet station. • Docksiders Buffet Style: Outstanding themed dinners, consistently sweet, attentive staff. • Eleven: Eleven Restaurant: Rose, The Maître d’—warm and welcoming; best clam chowder ever. • Coffee Shop: Jo-Anne—pleasant and always made us feel welcome. The grounds are pristine, the service standards are high, and the staff across all departments consistently demonstrated professionalism and kindness. Thank you for an unforgettable Caribbean getaway. This truly felt like our home away from home—though next time, we’ll skip pickleball! Sincerely, Nancylee & Roger M 📅 Visited Dec 7–13, 2025 🏨 Stayed in Room 328, Mango Building
