  Overall review from start to finish

  I stayed at the resort for a weekend with family and I must say my experience from start to finish was top tier! First and foremost is the quality of service from staff, every single employee I had an encounter with ensured that my family and I were comfortable and enjoying ourselves in a friendly yet professional manner, they were indeed well trained. Secondly the rooms, each member of my family (including myself) said that the rooms felt welcoming and comfortable (they are also very spacious). Lastly are the activities and the food, the resort offers varied activities that keep you entertained both on land and sea feel free to ask any worker about them. The bar and the food complement the excellency of the resort offering drinks prepared by great mixologists and cuisines from across the globe prepared by chefs (which I can say confidently) that can cook. Ultimately I can say my stay was indeed a 10/10.

  Good Atmosphere Good People

  place was great very nice atmosphere food and range of things to do met Igol Christopher (the ChessMaster) along the beach and was very nice to play with/against, even giving me lessons. Enjoyed my time.

  Family Holiday for my Birthday

  Love this place several years since first visit did not disappoint this time. Great location, gorgeous beach great facilities lovely rooms. Food excellent and plenty of choice. What made it special wss the really friendly and helpful team especially Brianne who was so helpful. Will definitely go back again.

  Very Disappointed in my experience at the St James resort in Antiqua

  We spent one week at St. James’s Club Antigua through Air Canada Vacations. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the overall experience, particularly when it came to the food and limited dining options. The resort advertises five à la carte restaurants, but during our stay it seemed that if you were lucky, one might actually be open for dinner. This made the all-inclusive experience feel quite limited. Breakfast and dinner were both unimpressive, with not a lot of variety or choices. For example, on our last night, the buffet was serving an Indian-themed dinner. I’m not a fan of Indian food, so I asked whether there were any other restaurant options available. Unfortunately, I was told that none of the other restaurants were open. At an all-inclusive resort, I would expect to have at least one alternative, especially for guests who may not enjoy the evening’s theme. There were also some smaller but disappointing issues. The adults-only bar was out of Diet Coke for an entire day, which seemed surprising for an all-inclusive resort. We travelled during the low season, when the resort was not particularly busy. Even then, the limited restaurant availability was frustrating. I would be concerned about what the experience would be like during high season, when there are likely to be considerably more guests trying to access the same limited dining options. The resort has a beautiful location, but for us, the lack of dining choices, limited variety, and inconsistent restaurant availability took away from the vacation. Based on our experience, we would not recommend St. James’s Club, especially for travellers who place a high value on having a good variety of food and restaurant options at an all-inclusive resort.

  Quiet Week Away for 10th Wedding Anniversary

  Honest Review, The Good and not so Good. Not so Good - These are really minor things. - A bit dated in places, in our room the Mosquito door didn't fully close and opening the balcony door was a nightmare due to age and rust. The hotel has been there a long time so we expected a few things not to be perfect. - The sea at the main beach isn't that clear when you get a few feet out due to seaweed so we stayed around the Pool area most of our stay - The dockside restaurant wasn't open as it was being refurb so limited on where to eat but updates need to happen so not a biggy. - Wifi was a bit slow but wasn't there to do any work so again, not a biggy. The Good - The team at the Hotel are amazing from the Management, Entertainment, Gardeners, Restaurant team , Cleaners and Bar staff are the best. Massive call out to Cressida at the Reef Deck bar, you are a credit to the team. And McKell in Entertainment, never ending energy and Elvis in the Jacaranda Bar, great guy. - The food - We stuck to mainly the buffet and really enjoyed it. The hotel was almost empty as Sept is their quiet month but we a good variety of food and they mixed it up to be tale service a few nights which was also good quality. - The grounds are kept really well and the team work constantly to keep it that way. - Friday night beach BBQ was one of the best nights we had. - The drinks, were varied from Local beer to branded spirits, all was available as part of the all inclusive. - The coffee and ice-cream huts are excellent and a must try and again part of the all inclusive. - Rooms a cleaned daily and always fresh towels. Would we return? For the value for money, I'd say yes we'd definately return
