Dec 01, 2024A little piece of paradise a short flight away!
I was in desperate need of a relaxing vation and Sunscape delivered. The hotel is a 4 star, clean and beds are amazing. The sound of the ocean is very therapeutic and if you love to walk the beach El Palmar is right there, beautiful sand, and warm water. The hotel was very accomodating. Sergio is the best and speaks very good English.He will help you navigate the area and take good care of you. I never had to get up to go to the bar, Antonio was the best at knowing when it was time for a cold beer. Go into Zihau for a day, experience the culture and eat the best seafood at El Gado. Water taxis will take you to beautiful calm islands where you can paddle, kayak,snorkel. I ended my week at the spa. Nothing short of amazing and relaxing. Thanks Lettie. Yes...I will go back!

The staff is exceptional. Very family friendly resort. We never had trouble finding pool chairs and beach loungers. We took the bike tour with Yessica as our guide and she is exceptional! The food was good here but not fantastic, except for the Da Mario Italian restaurant - it was very good! Few vegetarian options in general. It’s not a quiet resort at night but it does quiet down after 10:00. We are having a good stay and so far it has been good, with a few days left.

Sunscape Dorado
Our 5 star review is strictly based off the employees that made our vacation amazing! Shout out to Alicia, Misael, Ignacio, Emanuel, Pedro and Odette that served us breakfast and Lunch. We also want to give a should out to Tony “Bologna”, Jesus, Raymundo, Alexandro, Simon and Eduardo in the Sun club for keeping us well hydrated 😁 We had a wonderful time and we can’t thank the crew enough!

Bar and service experience
Very lovely friendly service Simon, Irvin, victor, raymundo, Antonio the waiter some of the best service I have received 10/10 I recommend if you stop here make sure you visit the bar and stop by barracuda for the most beautiful service Irvin left a great impression on my sister and I I will definitely be coming back

Great staff great resort
Spent 7 days at the resort and had a blast. Be sure to call ahead and request a king suite or else you may get a room with 2 double beds. Also pay for sun club, gives you more eating options. Buffet was adequate, but not outstanding. If we had kids, they may not have enjoyed the food options. Restaurant/buffet staff were outstanding. Alicia at sun club was great! Be sure to get seats at pool early! Sergio was very helpful in trying to get a spot. Antonio was great at keeping our drinks full while poolside. Rene does an outstanding job when arriving or leaving. Beware, if you are not wearing pants and non sandal shoes, you won't be allowed into itallian restaurant. Overall great experience and enjoyed how close everything was. I would go back as couples trip but probably not take kids.
