Ideal Oceanfront Condo for all ages!
We just got back on December 10th from Sunset Cove Grand Cayman. It really is ideal for young and old. We went with family and friends ranging from a toddler, to 21 year olds to 60 year olds and the condo/resort was ideal for all. The swimming cove allows you to swim in a calm, protected area then lounge in the chairs which always seem to be available unlike some areas. We stayed in 311, an Oceanview condo about 3 buildings back. The condo was clean, very well equipped for cooking dinners and had beach towels and rafts/masks to enjoy the cove. Great air conditioning as well. The unit was clean and nicely appointed although not super upgraded baths, countertops and fixtures but really quite nice accommodations. The ocean view was great for morning coffee and happy hour sunset. The pool and swim up pool bar was awesome, great vibe, happy hour pricing and open until 10:00. There is a liquor store within walking distance. When you arrive, there is a run down building just off West Bay which used to be Margaritaville. It is being torn down/renovated at some point so you may check if it's under construction but currently houses a locals bar for now. For local fare, we suggest Peppers for a fun but casual vive within a mile of Sunset Cove. We did have nice dinners at the Wharf but our favorite was Cocoloba in the SeaFire Kimpton Hotel....really magical, great food, table on the beach with your toes in the sand, great for anniversary or birthday dinners as they make up a special, personalized dessert plate. They do not take reservations but we were a party of 10 and had no problem getting in early December. I highly recommend Captain Marvins combination Stingray City and Starfish Point Trip No. 5. The trip was amazing and although 7 mile beach is no longer a continuous "7 miles" due to erosion, the beach experience at Sunset Cove is everything you envision and dream of!

Perfect condo for a family Cayman vacation
My wife & I and our 2 kids (20 & 18) just returned from 5 fantastic nights at Sunset Cove. We could not have been happier with our choice of where to stay. Our condo was perfect for us- especially for the price, which was extremely affordable as far as Grand Cayman goes. We stayed in #101 (3 BR, 2 BA), which in our opinion was the best condo on the property, as we literally could walk right out onto the beach. Great porch area to relax on as well. Having a kitchen & living space was so much better than splitting up into 2 hotel rooms. Major kudos to Tiffany at Sunset Cove, who was so helpful & a pleasure to deal with, especially since we had to reschedule our trip to a year later due to a random early season hurricane hitting when we were supposed to go the year before (earliest in 50+ years, so not something to actually worry too much about for a July trip!). The condo itself was a tad dated, but what you would expect. Internet, TV, & A/C all worked great, and the water pressure was good. Double sinks in the primary bedroom were a plus. The beach was very nice, great sand, and much larger than most beaches around us because of the sea wall. Yes, it looks a little odd, but having your own private lagoon was so great for just relaxing & floating, or snorkeling (inside & outside the lagoon). Pro tip- buy some cheap chair-style floats on Amazon before you go, leave them flat & blow them up when you arrive, and then just leave them when you depart (find another group to give them to, they will appreciate it). Those made our trip so much more enjoyable. The location is great. Walking distance or a short drive to lots of great restaurants, as well as shopping, including Foster's grocery store, which is big & really nice. Plenty of liquor/beer stores around (nice having a full size fridge for that!), and plenty of places to rent snorkel gear or anything else like that. It was our first time on Grand Cayman, & we wouldn't hesitate to go back. The island felt very "American", even though you drive on the "wrong" side of the car & road. Everyone takes American dollars & speaks English. Yes, it's a pricey island, but which one isn't these days? Super easy to get around, and nice people everywhere. Highly recommended.

A perfect week away in the Cayman's
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a week's stay in Unit 112. Kathy's condo is clean, tastefully decorated and stocked with everything guests need. It's bottom unit location is perfect as you can step out to the pool and hot tub and enjoy a quick saunter to the beach right from the patio. It was a perfect week away in a beautiful condo.

Budget family friendly resort on SMB
This place is a very budget friendly family resort. We stayed in condo 231 and it was beautiful and beachfront. Traveling with family from 17 yrs old to 80. This condo was a three bedroom. The resort itself could use a little TLC. It is nice to have a pool bar/restaurant on site. If we wanted to walk to good part of smb we just walked the street then cut over to the beach. The beach is nice and you can swim there but it’s not on the “wow” side of smb. The location is nice. Plenty of parking if you have a car. There’s a liquor store literally right next door. The only negative is the worn down Margaritaville that sits in the back of the hotel. But easy to look past. Bar/restaurant staff very friendly. If you are looking for condo style vacationing I’d recommend. It’s also nice to get away from the hustle and bustle especially when the cruise ships are in port. Tons of people on the public beach right next to hotel indigo and Seafire.

Beautiful Beach, Pool and Condo. Perfect for families and couples!
This place is a dream. From the moment you walk into the resort and see the views, you know you made the right decision. The beach is clean, plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas. The BEST part is the Rock wall to protect the Reef. It is a perfect spot to snorkel, explore or float. My kids loved the 'Cove'. Our condo was amazing as well. Best were super comfortable and the place was clean and well stocked. And can I mention the Ocean view again!!! The nightly Sunsets were simply beautiful! Pool was a great spot for the kids to swim other than the Cove. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool swim up bar that had a great menu of food and drinks. Every thing we had was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for families and couples!
