We have enjoyed our stay. Location to the waters edge can’t be beat. We stayed in room 2111 and from our building to the last one 2500 beach was good. All other buildings have some form of rocks to deal with. The bathroom is narrow but good enough to get the job done and the rest of the room was good. The security does a good job of checking first floor patio doors to make sure they are locked. The check in process was good and the shuttle service between resorts as you have full access to the Divi which has a great beach. Plenty of seating so no reason to get up before the sun rises to find a chair. Housekeeping came daily and did a nice job of making the bed, replacing towels, and cleaning. The pools are nice and both the Divi and the Tamarijn are doing a lot of remolding. Club Margot has a great dessert and atmosphere but the food just didn’t make sense to us and we both agreed the menu needs changes. Breakfast and lunch buffets are good and offer a nice selection. We found the Red Parrot and Pure lime to be better than the three at the Tam. The Italian had a nice filet dish which was very good. Having a Hertz in the resort made it very easy to get a rental for a day or two. The other issue I had is one of the first nights of our stay the power went out but returned for most. Our building 2100 to 2500 had no power for 1.5 hours. You say a resort this size should have a good working generator. Well on 10/9 power went out again but came back on. We then proceeded to the Divi for the dinner buffet but upon arrival the whole resort was pitch black no power. So we returned to the Tam and asked the concierge about eating at one of the restaurants on site since the Divi was out of power. I was told she couldn’t help me at this point it’s almost 8pm and me and the wife are hungry. The manager was at the Divi dealing with the power issue. I then went to the front desk and still no help. I then asked for the manager and she made a few calls and got us into a restaurant. I’m glad we got to eat but failed in customer service as it’s not my fault the power went out at the Divi. This is a nice resort and after all the remolding is done will be even nicer. I like the fact anywhere you need to go you can walk along the sidewalk looking out at the ocean. Bunker Bar was a nice spot for drinks.

The Tamarijm resort in Aruba
We had a great time in Aruba at the Tamarijn resort. The room was nice and clean . A little small, but still good. The services were fantastic going and coming back to your room with the shuttles. The staff were just amazing ! So very friendly and helpful. They keep the resort so nice and clean !! I would recommend this resort to everyone ! It's close to everything you will want to see ! And shops too !

I really wanted to like this place…but besides Janine at the front desk, Neli in concierge, Jorge at the main pool bar, and Nelson at breakfast…the rest of the staff could use a few more pointers in hospitality. The grounds are well kept, the walk from building 21 to the main pool was serene and beautiful every morning. The beach is pretty and access is great. The rooms are basic and the house keepers do their best. I’m sure they are overwhelmed with a full resort. My Nespresso machine only worked the first day and was never replaced upon asking, the golf cart never arrived to pick me up after calling, and the shower didn’t drain. This resort is not a 4.5 star whatsoever. Respectfully a 3 star for sure. There are plenty of places in Aruba that are consistent in hospitality and overall service. I always tip when I’m on vacation and literally that is the only time you would see a smile on someone’s face. Pay a little more. Stay elsewhere.

Rooms here are not 4 star!
This rooms in this resort were our biggest complaint.....outdated, awful shower, flimsy bath towels and terribly inadiquate storage for an extended stay. Also the construction going on while we were there was awful! But the review is higher than I would have given due to the amazing restaurants and wait staff! Also the incredible tour offered twice a week by the activities center. Sign up quickly for the tour---accomodates 12 and takes you on a 6 mile bike ride to a beautiful snorkle spot! With the return trip 12 miles total so you have to be a bit fit even if it is on electric bikes. Super kudos to out guides Zef and Donnie!!!! This tour deserves 5 stars!
