Nov 19, 2025Absolutely wonderful trip
Been coming since 2021 and we had a great time with our Balls Deep crew. Big shout out to Khris Jones at Sutra he's always our favorite, Beto Reyes for breakfast at the buffet we love, Shadia and Ivan were top notch as always for butler's. Not enough credit goes out to the maintenance crews, security, house keeping etc. The place looked incredible this trip. Everyone was working so hard painting, cleaning etc. Had the pleasure of meeting Giovani in charge of food and beverage and he was wonderful to us. I still recommend however you need 4 bar tenders constantly spread out at the sexy pool bar especially on the Premier end. Food was wonderful, drinks were wonderful and the vibe was very good

7 Trips And It Just Keeps Getting Better
Just returned from visit number 7 at Temptation Cancun. As always it was a great time. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating. Our main butler Azul was incredible and so very helpful in getting us everything we needed from reservations right down to a glue gun lol. The Playmakers put in so much time and effort and make you feel like family. Sam (Samantha).... what can we say... you were incredible and if we could have stuffed you in our luggage we would have taken you home lol. Cowboy, Ari, Anaconda, and Bride... it was flattering to have you guys cheering and singing along while I did karaoke. The servers, housekeepers, bartenders, groundskeepers and everyone else there makes the whole experience even better. I wish I could remember everyone's names, so if I left you out, I apologize. If you're thinking about visiting, stop! Just do it already!

The place to party and let loose
Staff are exceptional. They definitely want to include you in the fun. Beach is nice but not private. Lots of music. The music selection has improved so much. Sam was a top notch entertainer and major part of my visit. She encouraged me to have fun and interact. Loved music trivia and watching the pool volleyball. Karla in guest services was amazing and checked in with us constantly. I can't wait to go back. Made new friends and hung out with old ones. Sutra food was amazing as always. Make sure you do the hibachi. Quite the show.

Nov 16, 2025Not the experience we expected - more spring break than sexy adults only
Temptations Resort Review Temptations is a hardcore party resort with a constant emphasis on upselling. We traveled as three lifestyle-friendly, well-traveled couples, and while there were a few highlights, the overall experience wasn’t for us. The Good Our room in the Bash Tower (Playful Experience package) was a good size with a beautiful view. The butler service was helpful for dinner reservations and questions, and most staff members were friendly and accommodating. The resort itself has a modern, sexy look. Rooms were clean, though beginning to show wear. We had one minor issue with hot water, but nothing major. Food quality was overall good, with Sutra (Indian/Asian fusion) and Romanza (Italian) as standout favorites. We ate at Sutra twice and there were some consistency issues. We had stand out service from waiters Christian R, butlers: Leo, Azul, Massage Therapists: Lara, Jessica as well as the waiter at Romanza who was serving his first shift when we dined on 11/13. I was celebrating a birthday and appreciated the sparkling wine, cake slice, and decorations waiting in the room. We also had excellent spa experiences. And we loved the resort is topless-optional. The Bad The check-in process is overwhelming and far too long. After a full travel day, you're hit with a rapid-fire barrage of information and pressure. You’re immediately pushed toward attending the VIP breakfast and sales tour, pitched as "just one hour" (our friends confirmed it was more like two). The pressure didn’t stop when we declined—texts from the butler, calls to our room, and staff approaching us in person to try again with additional “perks.” The tactics felt straight out of a car dealership. Our friends who attended the VIP breakfast confirmed it was high pressure, and several members we met at the pool complained about perks changing or being removed after joining. We were glad we avoided it. Upselling is constant. Every interaction begins with it—better table? Extra fee. Wine? Upsell. Steak upgrade? Upsell. Massage? Upsell. It becomes exhausting and makes the resort feel like one long sales funnel. The overall vibe is extreme spring-break partying, not sexy or sophisticated. We don’t mind a party—but the repeated scenes of guests falling down drunk, yelling, and being overtly obnoxious set the tone. This wasn’t just once; it was a daily theme. A Serious Miss: The SHE Restaurant SHE is marketed as a sensual, intimate couples experience with a dress code and sexy performance. Instead, within 10 minutes of being seated, a severely overserved couple was placed near us—loud, vulgar, and disruptive. The woman was stumbling around the restaurant, flashing herself, threatening to urinate on the floor because she couldn’t find the bathroom. Multiple guests, including us and our friends, complained to staff. The response? “Let’s wait and see if she quiets down once the show starts.” No intervention. No request for them to leave. No security. We ended up walking out, as did another couple in our group. Those who stayed reported the couple continued their behavior throughout the show and were never addressed. When we escalated the issue to management, the reaction was dismissive at best. Noise Levels Theme parties run until the early morning hours, and the bass thumps nonstop. Earplugs are provided, but they offer minimal help. When the music finally ends, the hallways become the after-party as guests yell, roam, and continue drinking. We’ve been to Hedo, lifestyle resorts, and adult-only cruises—nothing compares to the excessive drunken behavior here. The resort advertises a playful, sexy experience, but the environment felt more like unsupervised college spring break than sensual adults-only fun. Final Verdict Temptations has a few solid features—friendly staff, good food, nice spa, and clean modern rooms—but the overwhelming upselling, nonstop pressure tactics, and extreme drunken party atmosphere overshadow it all. We won’t be returning.

#10 and still loving it
10th visit and still loving it all. The staff, A+. The vibes, A+. Everyone is so welcoming and great to talk to. A couple special shoutouts for the staff you need to seek out and meet: ⭐️ Poolside and Cabana Servers - Jesus deserves an extra shout out - A pleasure to talk with. I’ve never had an empty drink in hand. Always so attentive and willing to help. ⭐️ Flame & Quiet Pool Bartender - Jose - This guys has stories for days and always keeps your espresso martinis full and Dr. Pepper shots ready! ⭐️ Sutra - Jones - another must meet for some of the best espresso martinis on resort. Such a loving guy who is always willing to talk Can’t wait to go back!
