    Birthday Celebration

    From start to finish Thais was one of the best trips I have ever had . I had no complaints. The staff, the food , the ambiance the drinks and the activities everything and I mean everything was 10/10. I’m looking forward to coming back here soon.

    Bad customer service

    I stayed here in February of this year and booked a specific room, but I canceled the upgrade during check-in. At checkout, I was told the difference would be returned to my card. Nearly seven months have passed without a refund or any response from management. Their counter service is poor; I have shared my account number and credit card details, yet nothing has arrived. They charge quickly, but when it comes to returning overcharged funds, they are nowhere to be found.

    Suggestions we all can agree on

    Temptations will always be my home. Very nice gesture, when you pull up, your greeted by the staff with the phrase "Welcome Home" so as a member, im going to use this opportunity to express some suggestions to make visiting there even more enjoyable. There are 3 things I believe you can approve upon. 1. SCORES you have a very nice area with pool tables, sports TV, a very nice bar and hardly anyone knows about it. Its not advertised or promoted as a place for ppl to gather and have fun, especially on days that it rains. If you add some more games, ping pong, put the dart board back, some video games and wings, burgers etc. This room would be a very popular place to hangout. But it has to be advertised or promoted. 2. Down time. There is a section of the day that you guys have no answer for. The sexy pool closes around 7, so most folks go to dinner afterwards. So we all shower, get dressed head to dinner. But from say 8:30 until the theme night starts which is close to 11pm. There is absolutely nothing you offer for people to do. People are dressed and out and there is nothing but the bar. So we're almost forced to go back to our rooms and get undressed and wait. By this time most people are comfortable and dont come back out. 3. You have heard the complaint, over and over about the music. The music is what determines the vibe and mood. The DJ has to read the room. This is not about catering to one demographic, R&B music and Hip Hop is universal. When I was there last week, the theme night was packed, the music was R&B and rap and everyone was having a good time. Then Bam! Techno music and dancing queen came on and everyone disbursed. It went from hundreds dancing to about 15 and out of those 15 ppl, 8 were workers. And it went on so long, the crowd was lost and a lot of people left the resort and went to a club in town. Temptations, is such a vibe and I believe these small changes could make a big difference.

    Continue the downhill slide

    11th Labor Day and each year the value and experience declines. Staff reductions resulted in waits for services, restaurants closed and gardening staff practically nonexistent with beach unusable. Nacho, Mike & Lili of the Butler staff were amazing as always. All Members bar staff were incredible including Adam, Gerry, and Julio. Playmakers were there which is about all I can say about them. Room service was very good. Unfortunately, breakfast buffet consisted of a single serving line with one staff member working egg station. Seating reduced with guests waiting for someone to leave so they could sit. Future plans for development are designed solely to increase rates and not to improve the guest experience. Labor Day was very slow due to a resort takeover over a holiday weekend leaving resort with low occupancy for holiday and days after. Don Diego in my opinion would not be happy with how the family has taken his vision and legacy and turned it into nothing more than any other Cancun property. That said, no other resort matches the vibe and I credit the guests for continuing the spirit of Don Diego’s vision and love for his guests.
