  The best place on earth

  Our stay at Tensing Pen Resort in Jamaica was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every single employee we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay feel special, personal, and unforgettable. I especially have to recognize Deandra, who was absolutely AMAZING. She went completely above and beyond to secretly help my fiancé plan our proposal during our stay. She was incredibly thoughtful, helpful, attentive, and made sure everything came together perfectly while keeping the entire surprise a secret. The amount of care and effort she put into helping make such an important moment in our lives absolutely perfect meant more to us than she probably realizes. Deandra deserves a RAISE for the incredible level of service and dedication she provides! She is truly an asset to Tensing Pen. We also absolutely loved Paul, the amazing lifeguard/scuba extraordinaire! He was so kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely made our experience even more enjoyable. His personality and willingness to help made such a lasting impression on us. And honestly, the praise doesn’t stop there. Every single member of the kitchen staff, servers, chefs, housekeeping team, and every employee we encountered was wonderful. We never once met someone who wasn’t friendly, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely happy to be there. The level of hospitality throughout the entire resort is something you simply don’t experience everywhere. Tensing Pen isn’t just a beautiful resort—it feels like a place where the people genuinely care about their guests. Everyone made us feel welcomed, appreciated, and at home, and that made our trip even more meaningful, especially because we were celebrating such an important milestone in our relationship. We can honestly say this was by far the best resort experience we have ever had. Jamaica was already incredibly special to us, but the people at Tensing Pen made it unforgettable. We left with incredible memories, full hearts, and so much appreciation for the entire staff. And we’re not even saying goodbye—we already know we’re coming back next year! ❤️🇯🇲 Thank you, Tensing Pen, for giving us an experience we will cherish forever. And a very special thank you to Deandra, Paul, and every single person who made our stay so incredible. You all truly made our trip unforgettable!

  Tranquiliity and Hospitaility at its best on the west

  i have to say this place is just so relaxing, 3 awesome doggos roaming the property and welcome butt scratches,the staff are amazing and accommodating , the gardens are immaculate, the bar tenders are a hoot and will keep you laughing for sure. Bumped in to the owners of Tensing Pen , such nice genuine people who really care for the jamaican people and culture , well definitely be back , tell em Shop Boss sent yeh! Bless

  Honeymoon/Vow renewal

  We chose Tensing Pen for our honeymoon and “reverse elopement” because their wedding team responded promptly and made our small event feel like a priority to them. This is important given that we took a trip to Jamaica several months ago to visit 2 other wedding locations AND met with their teams. When we contacted Tensing Pen, Sha-Wayde and Deandra followed up with phone calls and emails to clarify and understand what we wanted for our event. They were happy to customize for us, rather than referring us to pre-set packages that didn’t align with our desires. The setup, photography they arranged, and the dinner for two were more beautiful and perfect than we could have imagined. Some things to keep in mind: 1. It may rain so be flexible. It rained right before dinner so the team had to re-locate the dinner setup but they did it quickly and the covered location was just as beautiful. 2. It is windy at times so the bride’s hairstyle should be simple. 3. The cliffs are gorgeous and the splashing water looks great in pictures. That also means that your dress, etc. may get wet. I wore a simple inexpensive dress that was easy to work with under all of these conditions and if any stains remain after it is cleaned, I am not concerned because the dress was not pricey. 4. Artificial flowers can be just as beautiful as real flowers. I used artificial flowers for my bouquet. They were easy to pack and did not wilt in the heat or rain. 5. ENJOY this special time and don’t be afraid to ask the staff for help. They had an answer for EVERYTHING. Finally, the property is everything that other positive reviews have mentioned. Food on the property is delicious. It is in walking distance to 2 small restaurants, Ivan’s, and Rick’s. We walked to all of those locations (staying close to the side of the road and being respectful of drivers and locals). We look forward to celebrating anniversaries there in the future and can’t wait to bring some friends along!

  My favorite place to be

  This is our 3rd time returning to Tensing Pen and it’s always the best experience every time! The beauty is magical and the staff are so kind and accommodating. Everything you could imagine in a gorgeous, calm, and peaceful environment with the best dogs in town!
