I’m fussy and excessive for detail and I couldn’t find one fault with this hotel - a very impressive 10/10 - the art deco interior throughout was very special, the air con worked timely and perfectly - I slept like a baby, the room views of my favourite city of culture was a nice treat, the location - do we have all day 🔥, the food tasty, fresh and prompt, and finally the staff - all highly professional and kind - Simon is a national treasure - obviously we’ll be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous
Absolutely fabulous hotel. Amazing location. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. Simon on reception really made our stay. Super friendly. Always on hand with a hello and a big smile when we passed. Would highly recommend and will be top of my list for a hotel in Dublin from now on.

Stayed in The Alex on the 2nd for a business meetings the next day, met a few colleagues and decided to have dinner at the hotel, so not embarrass my guests who where paying for the food I said nothing, the braised beef short rib served to me was cold over cooked dry burnt with raw carrot strips looked they had been cut using vegetable peeler and the red wine jue was thick and rather disgusting, over all a very poor meal and mostly inedible , apart from that check-in and check out staff including room perfect, just one point to note , one of the large towels had a worn hole in it , rather poor for a hotel of this standard

Absolutely lovely hotel
The Alex Hotel is close to the pubs, shops, Luas & Dart stations making ita great hotel to stay in, it was spotlessly clean with a very fast check-in. We met Simon on the Front Desk when we first checked in and he was amazing. (Any hotel with staff like Simon will thrive). We will be back again, no doubt.

Excellent Stay - Would Recommend
The Alex was a very beautiful hotel for our stay in Dublin. We came for a week as a sort of “baby moon” and found the space extremely clean, relaxing to stay, and close to nearby sites. The entire staff treats you well — whether at the front desk, at breakfast, or the cleaning crew. The hotel was easy in terms of walking distance to many sites in Dublin. Overall, I’d highly recommend the Alex and would stay there again.
