  Wouldn't stay here again

  Started off with brown water. Then the next morning to get ready NO RUNNING WATER! ROOM IS HOT THERMOSTAT SAYS 80 INSIDE when set to 60° they did send maintenance but didn't help much it did eventually reach 78 inside one day. Ended up purchasing a fan from Walmart to help. Will never stay or suggest this place. Food choices are limited. Check-in process horrible.

  Would Recommend Staying Somewhere Else.

  We just returned from a 7 day stay at the Hacienda with our two young adult children. PROS: 1. The workers were amazing, fun and so friendly. They easily made it the best part of the stay. 2. The Hacienda side pool is gorgeous. Very clean and lots of shade and chairs to lounge on. We never had any issues finding 4 spots together. 3. The rooms are outdated but clean. 4. My daughter and I had massages at the Spa which were great. 5. The wildlife on the resort was so fun to see and we also loved the cats roaming about. CONS: 1. Upon arrival, our kids room had no working refrigerator and their sliding glass door would not shut completely (both were fixed after day 2) 2. We paid for pool views for both of our rooms; however trees completely blocked our kids room so they had no view. 3. They are currently doing maintenance on the resort so the telephone in our kids room didn’t work at all. They gave us a QR code to scan that then made you download an app to be able to call the front desk. Very inconvenient. 4. We arrived on Saturday and were notified on Sunday that the entire other half of the resort had been rented out for a private party until Thursday. This was extremely inconvenient as 3 of the food options then became unavailable as well as the skybar pool and any nightlife on that side of the resort. 5. The food at the buffet was not good. Extremely limited options and the same things over and over. One of the lunch buffets had numerous fruit flies all over the fresh fruit 🤮The restaurants that required reservations were mediocre. The chicken at every restaurant was overcooked and difficult to eat. 6. There is NO nightlife at this resort. The concierges desk would say things were happening and then change the location or not even have the “event.” (Due to the private party) We often found that the concierges desk had a different answer depending on who you asked which was frustrating. Overall, we would not stay here again. We spent a LOT of money and to not be able to access everything we had paid for was extremely disappointing. Luckily, with the resort location, Uber was our best friend and we ventured off numerous days to explore and eat local food vs. at the resort.

  Stay anywhere else if you can

  Absolutely avoid stay anywhere else. I am currently staying at the Hacienda and it is anything but adult as there are children running around making noise in the restaurants, etc. Theair-conditioning barely works, they do not give you water and coffee at your room as I had to beg room service to bring me water as Ihad none for my second day straight. The coffee machine barely works and leaked all over my clothes. I chose this hotel because there were five or six restaurants, however, when you try to make your reservation, you cannot as they have rentedthem out to a teenage group so I can only use one restaurant for the next five days and it is below average. I paid the top dollar for this resort and they don’t even include wine, what I’ll inclusive doesn’t include wine with the drinks. And for the , I believe they’re mostly water mixed in with the limited alcohol. I drank all day at the resort and all I got was a sugar high. The staff are friendly, but I believe to be grossly overworked as the cleaners are run ragged and I haven’t seen the stains on my get get mopped up yet. The entire reason that you book a adults only resort is not to have children, but there are children. Children in the pool children at the children making noise. This resort was very misrepresented by WestJet. Save your money and go anywhere else. Did I mention they booked the bulk of the restaurants to other customers but not the customers who paid the most, very insulting and I be sure to review everywhere

  A Best Friends relaxing get away

  This was a resort built for exactly what we wanted. It was so relaxing with the greatest food options. The service was way above our expectations. Miguel and Carlos were the greatest servers at the pool and Manuel made sure we had everything we needed in the restaurants.

  Excellent second stay at Hacienda Krystal Grand

  This was our second stay at Hacienda Krystal Grand, and once again we had an excellent experience. The Hacienda side of the hotel has its own vibe. It is relaxed, elegant, and a little quieter, which makes it easy to properly settle in. It also works really well as a home base. You can enjoy the resort, but still get downtown, the Romantic Zone, and the rest of Puerto Vallarta pretty easily when you want to explore. The concierge team was a major highlight. Ernesto Pérez, the Guest Services Manager, and Daisy from Concierge were genuinely spectacular. Responsive, thoughtful, extremely competent, and very diligent. Their attention to detail and level of care stood out well beyond the usual hotel experience. The broader team was excellent too. The servers and housekeeping staff were warm, efficient, and consistently kind throughout our stay. The property itself has a lovely atmosphere, but the people are what really make the experience. We felt very well looked after, and we really appreciated the care and professionalism from the whole team.
