  Best of Barbados

  Visited this hotel mid September for 2 weeks with my wife and daughter , I would name the staff members who were special, but to be honest they all were from the reception staff, restaurant staff,bar and room cleaning. At this time of the year the hotel was pretty quiet with low numbers of visitors, as we're all of the hotels in the area . The hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept grounds . The breakfast was buffet for most of our stay and was pretty good, although it really needs to be warmer as the hotplates are not doing their job, breakfast was much better when it went to choice from the menu. Lunch was good and varied , dinner was a choice of mains ,but only three choices, my daughter wasn't a fan of the menu's but great credit to the staff and kitchen for getting something for her . Entertainment was 2 nights a week, could have been more , probably due to low occupancy. Bar staff were great with fun interaction with guests and make a great painters punch !! I never go anywhere without having a moan about something...... sorry to disappoint this time...all was great.... thanks staff ..for a wonderful time Clue in picture who wrote this...

  Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely food, lovely beach.

  We visited this hotel for the day on Tuesday 8th September from a Sister hotel (that shall remain nameless, to avoid their embarrassment). Your "All inclusive" status is portable on such visits, so we were able to eat in the restaurant and use all of the Hotels facilities. We fell in love with the Hotel immediately (the title of my Review says it all). The main reason we chose to visit this particular Sister hotel was because it was Adults only. It wasn't until we got there that we found it had just 35 rooms. It was the personification of "small and friendly". The entire staff were genuinely friendly without being false, and the Hotel was a great fit for us. As a result, I made enquiries with Oshein on the Front Desk about moving there from our current Hotel. She was efficiency itself and - along with her Manager Glyne, they made all of the arrangements (including speaking to our current Hotel, to explain the situation). Glyne showed us the room that would be ours if we did move, and it was lovely. As a result, we returned to our current Hotel in the late afternoon, packed, settled our bill and got a cab straight back to Treasure Beach that evening (for the last 6 nights of our 14 night stay in Barbados). Oshein even helped us settle in. It obviously can't always be guaranteed, but our Bonus was that the other Guests were wonderful company. As for the two impromptu art sessions (with small canvasses, paints and brushes all provided free by the Hotel) they were fantastic. Glyne even found a spare 10 minutes to join in, with a wonderful sketch. Thanks to Lisa and Jan for organising them, they were a blast. When we return to Barbados, it'll definitely be to Treasure Beach and I'll obviously register as Fat Boy Slim (private joke).

  A Treasure Chest of Delights

  This was our first visit to beautiful Barbados and definitely not our last. We stayed at Treasure Beach Art Hotel where nothing was too much trouble for Richard and the whole of his fantastic team. This hotel was immaculately presented on every level throughout the whole complex. The Tapestry Restaurant excelled in quality, presentation and service throughout our entire stay. Thanks to Sherrie, Sasha and the fantastic restaurant team. Too many to mention however all amazing individuals. My partners birthday celebration was made into a very special memory which he will not forget. The Bar was a focal point and a hive of activity throughout our holiday. Thanks to Dizai and Michel for keeping the drinks flowing. Their personalities shone though with much good humour and conversation. Our suite was absolutely stunning with the sea view as a beautiful bonus.House keeping was to a high standard throughout with daily visits. Overall the memories of our 12 night stay with remain with us for long time and we intend to return. Claire And Neil

  An Excellent Beach Hotel

  We stayed for 4 nights at Treasure Beach in early September. Our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I had reached out to the hotel before our stay, as I was planning on proposing to my (then) girlfriend during our time in Barbados and wanted to inquire about the layout of the hotel and some administrative considerations. Richard, the guest services manager, was prompt in getting in touch with me to help coordinate making the entire weekend magical. Richard and his team went above and beyond in ensuring we were welcomed into the hotel like family, making us feel like VIPs as we enjoyed the wonderful island. The best way to describe the hotel that it is an oasis of tranquility located in paradise. The average age of the other guests skewed older and the hotel is adults-only, meaning the overall vibe was calm and relaxed. Sitting in a lounger overlooking the ocean or bobbing in the water, you feel at peace as the wind blows and waves crash. We took advantage of the free water taxi to visit some of the other Marriott properties (and enjoy included food and beverage) and found that the peacefulness of Treasure Beach is unmatched. The grounds are lush and well maintained, and Payne's Bay beach is easily accessible down a staircase from the hotel grounds. The water is crystal clear and unbelievably blue, and the bay gives you a perfect beach walk to enjoy the sunset. The room was spacious and comfortable. Well air conditioned for sleeping, but light and pleasant with the windows open during the day. The balcony was private and overlooked the ocean, giving us yet another option where we could enjoy watching the sun set over the Caribbean. The bar was exceptional and the bartenders willing to try making anything we could think of. The cocktail list is quite good, the Bajan Picasso was especially pleasant as a modified quasi-painkiller, and the Rum Punch was the best I had on the island. The dining experience was good, we had breakfast three times, lunch once, and dinner twice. Portions were well sized, allowing us to eat our fill without feeling overstuffed. The food itself was good, and we never left a meal dissatisfied. Dinner was very enjoyable, with live music both times. The weakest link in the entire experience was the cafe, where the coffee is good, but the grab-and-go selection is lacking variety. But if the only thing negative about a place is the coffee shop cookies, then you know it must be somewhere special. The small size of the entire hotel results in a reduced quantity (not quality) of amenities, so if you are looking for multiple pools, different restaurants, plethora of bars, or a spa, then this is not the place for you. The free water taxi puts all of those within reach. We chatted with a English couple who had spent the day in the spa at Waves, before returning to Treasure Beach for dinner, drinks, and the sunset. Overall, I would highly recommend Treasure Beach for anyone looking to escape from the world and enjoy serenity offered by blue water, warm weather, and cool drinks.   Very Welcoming Experience

  Had a lovely and very enjoyable 4 days at Treasure beach in August. We found the hotel very clean and the staff extremely good and friendly. Our welcome from Glyne, with only one foot out of the taxi was very professional and set the tone for the level of service we could expect. Our room was great, the only decision we had to make was turn left for the beach or right for the pool, both only yards away. We found Johann at the bar to be very friendly and courteous as were all the staff we encountered. The hotel was quiet which was great for us but probably not for Marriott. You will see that I only gave a score of 4 out of 5, this is because of the food, I felt breakfast and lunch were good but I thought the evening meal could be a bit better. Don't get me wrong I love the fact it's menu based not a free for all buffet but I thought the quality of the dishes could have matched that of their sister hotels Waves or The House, which we have also stayed at. But having said that I would definitely go back without hesitation.
