  Another amazing anniversary spent at TRS

  Our stay at TRS Coral was absolutely amazing! From the beautiful resort and relaxing atmosphere to the outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations. What truly made our experience special was the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make our vacation unforgettable. A huge thank you to Ladis, our pool server, for keeping us taken care of while we relaxed by the pool. Carlos, the bartender at Gravity Bar, made sure the drinks were always great, and Ulises, our Gravity Bar server, provided excellent service with a smile. Roberto, our dinner server, made our evenings extra fun with his impressive magic tricks and wonderful personality. And a special thanks to Eladio, our butler, for making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Each of these team members helped make our vacation feel special, and their dedication to providing excellent service deserves recognition. It’s the people who make a resort truly memorable, and TRS Coral has some outstanding employees! We would absolutely recommend TRS Coral to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with exceptional service. We can’t wait to come back! Five stars all the way!

  Best pool service

  Great day at the pool with the Bali bed and Ulises as our server. We have had him twoce since we arrived and bothers times he went above and beyond keeping us hydrated with waters and of course great drinks. The pizza at the pool bar was great best food we have had so far.

  Beautiful Resort, but Major Service Failures and Limited Amenities — Not a Luxury Experience

  I recently stayed at TRS Coral in Costa Mujeres, Mexico, and unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. While the property itself is beautiful and several employees provided outstanding hospitality, the resort's operational failures significantly overshadowed the positives. My biggest complaint was the number of closed or unavailable facilities and the complete lack of communication surrounding those closures. Restaurants, entertainment venues, and other amenities were not consistently available, yet these limitations were not clearly disclosed before my arrival or explained during check-in. Instead, I repeatedly found myself discovering closures on my own. When booking a luxury, all-inclusive resort, guests reasonably expect access to the dining, entertainment, and amenities being advertised. If the property is operating at reduced capacity, that information should be communicated upfront so travelers can make informed decisions before spending their money. One experience was particularly concerning from a guest safety standpoint. I requested a resort shuttle to the sports bar, and the driver dropped me off without informing me that the venue was closed. Not only was the sports bar closed, but the surrounding area was dark and deserted. As a woman traveling alone, I found myself isolated in an unfamiliar area of the resort with no immediate transportation available. I ultimately had to walk a considerable distance to find another shuttle. This was frightening, completely avoidable, and unacceptable at a property of this caliber. Housekeeping also failed to meet basic expectations. I used the resort's designated card to request fresh bed linens and even left a $10 gratuity. I happened to be in the room when housekeeping arrived and personally observed the attendant remake the bed using the same sheets rather than replacing them. Why advertise a linen-change service if the staff will not honor the request? Even the in-room entertainment was frustrating. The television was difficult to operate, Netflix was unavailable despite having a dedicated button, and Amazon Prime was the only personal streaming option I could access. The cable programming I encountered was not in English, making it impossible for me to enjoy sports or other familiar television programming during my downtime. Individually, some of these issues might seem minor. Collectively, they represent a troubling lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and inadequate management oversight. I also paid an additional $150 for a room upgrade upon arrival, making the overall experience even more disappointing considering the level of service delivered. To be fair, there were some bright spots. The grounds were beautiful, I enjoyed the food at La Adelita, and several employees truly went above and beyond. Special recognition goes to Carlos at the pool, Alejandro at La Adelita, Jafet at the pool bar, and Erick and Lillian at the front desk. Their kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, excellent individual employees cannot compensate for systemic operational shortcomings. My biggest takeaway is that TRS Coral is charging luxury resort prices without consistently delivering a luxury resort experience. Guests should not have to spend their vacations investigating which amenities are operating, dealing with preventable housekeeping failures, or being transported to closed facilities. Given the extent of the service limitations and failures, I believe some form of substantial financial compensation is appropriate. An apology alone does not address the difference between what was advertised and what was actually delivered. I have stayed at numerous upscale properties, and I understand that no resort is perfect. However, there is a significant difference between an occasional inconvenience and a pattern of failures that fundamentally diminishes the guest experience. Would I return? Based on this experience, no. Would I recommend TRS Coral at its current price point? Unfortunately, no. If you're considering this property, I strongly encourage you to confirm which restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and amenities will actually be operating during your stay before booking.

  Great stay, wonderful amenities, excellent service and a wonderful location.

  I would recommend this location if you enjoy the most amenities and activity as possible. Very large location with many different spots for food and activities. Friendly staff as well.
