  Moldy room x 2

  First off, I'm from Florida so I am used to humidity and heat. We arrived and immediately proceeded to our TRS room. It was warm but I figured that was due to the AC not being turned down. We could immediately smell mold and mildew. We brought it to the attention of concierge and they said it was just due to their humidity. We turned the AC down and left the room, came back hours later and our room was still very warm. We notified concierge again and they told us to not worry and it would get better. The next day nothing was better. Our friends said their rooms were cold. They even came to our room and said our was far moldier than any of theirs. I became sick almost immediately. I couldn't breathe after being in the room and coughed nonstop. The second day we requested a new room and were told they were full and had none available. Staying in this room made me even more sick and I could never recover. Finally, on the third day we were moved to a room with a SLIGHTLY better working AC and still smelled like mold. For seven days I got sicker and sicker and magically every time I stayed out of the room all day I would improve slightly. I have never had a resort make me sick before. The food was decent at best but I ended up losing weight from this trip. Staff is nice and helpful and our room was cleaned to the best of housekeeping's ability. Overall, I would never go back here because I can spend my money better somewhere else. Somewhere that doesn't make me ill. BEWARE if you have any asthma, allergies, lung problems, or respiratory issues.

  Excellent stay

  The staff! Above everything else, they work so incredibly hard and always go above and beyond. The hotel itself is beautiful. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite and the room was great and I loved how big the balcony was so we were able to enjoy the large bali seat in the afternoons. The only downside I would say is the toilet, if youre sharing its not quite so private as there is not a lock and not soundproof. However, easily resolved, send the other people to the balcony ha! The food was truly excellent, I would highly recommend the ribeye from El Gaucho. Would definitely return or explore other TRS/Palladium properties.

  TRS Amazing Yucatan!

  The most amazing holiday ever! The whole complex was just perfect! Can’t wait to come back! Shout out to every single member of staff, they truly make the difference X

  Food disappointing at breakfast & in some restaurants.

  Rooms are very nice had a damp smell though charging points don’t always work and light switches all over the room but not bright. There was 2 coffee makers but no kettle or milk which was annoying. Toilet quite high with mirrored walls mmmm. Bed was comfortable & always kept clean. You have to give your room no:every time you eat so you can be seated get frustrating, apart from al la carte breakfast the buffet was always cold ie all kinds of eggs bacon sausage but a choice of other stuff. You need to book evening restaurants with your butler every day or go to the sports bar where you can just walk in great choice there, showing all sports.The butlers were brilliant always on hand to sort things for you. The Chic show is a must worth every penny with a 7 course taster the performers was outstanding. You get a golf buggy to take you anywhere which is ideal as the hotel site is vast.
