Excellent service and food.
We whet to the mediterranean restaurant at the TRS resort. Out server Manuel was extremely attentive and amazing. Service and the food was perfect. Great variety and presentation. Atmosphere was relaxing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Hotel in the sun
Arrival was poor, not being offered a welcome drink which others seemed to be offered. The person seemed to be more interesting in trying to upsell their 5 day Exclusive experience. Good selection of restaurants and ability to use the hotels next door, so you can eat out in a different restaurant every night. Queues for the restaurant was long in many cases, particularly for breakfast and lunch where you could queue for 20 minutes to get a table. Lack of available chairs around the pool, needing to get them early in order to secure one. Drinks also were hit and miss. Some being excellent where the bar staff knew how to make a wide selection of drinks. Others were poor and the drink produced was not consistent and not the best taste. There was also very little parking, having to leave the car on the roadway. The butler service is really only a concierge service to book your restaurants. A nice hotel, but 100% NOT a 5 STAR resort.

Friendly and warm
We had an amazing stay. Our butlers Maggie, Andrea and Ramon made things so easy. Spent most of our time at the la terraza bar because Jaqueline was an amazing server, so kind and friendly and always ready to help! The room was nice and clean, room service was tasty and a delightful perk with our room.

Tnt hit the Mayan Riveria
This is our first return to TRS review and the food quality in most restaurants was delightful, it’s the people that make the place!

Beautiful resort with lots of wildlife
We arrived after a long journey and checked in quickly with no pushing of the travel club and only one mention of premium, which we refused. We were advised to go to La Dalia for dinner which is a buffet. It’s fine but no one seems particularly happy to be there. I would definitely recommend the Nest in the family section instead. I mentioned to the butler about booking dinners for the week but he suggested we do it the next day, which was fine but by the next day there was no availability for the second evening. So I would recommend deciding where you want to eat and booking dinners as soon as you’re able. The tv wouldn’t turn off which wasn’t great when we were so tired. Someone said they would come who sort it out. They didn’t and we ended up pulling out the cables. It was fixed the next day when we mentioned it again. We had an ocean view room which was lovely with a great sea view. There was no musty smell or signs of tiredness/wear in the room. Housekeeping was generally good, apart from one day when our room wasn’t cleaned. We mentioned it to our butlers and got water re stocked etc. Most of the a la carte restaurants were good. I m vegetarian and they always catered for me. We had terrible service at the Thai (we felt so uncomfortable we left after the main and went to the Nest) but in every other place the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The queuing system for breakfast is a little annoying and it can take quite a while for a la carte breakfasts to arrive. We found it quicker to order drinks at the bar before being seated. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. There are carts to take you around but we walked most places - the resort isn’t too big. Ordering room service from the tv worked well. The bingo was good fun. It can be hard to get sunloungers after 10.30. I loved the variety of wildlife we saw.
