This is definitely not a “5 star luxury” resort. Upon arrival late at night we were informed that the room we booked wasn’t available. We were told it would be available the next day and that someone would call us to let us know when we could move. Nobody ever called. In fact the room wasn’t available until well after 5:30 pm. We spent the afternoon in our room waiting for the call. It wasn’t until we inquired about it almost two hours after they said it would be available that it still wasn’t ready and would be done in one hour. Also upon arrival we were pressured into to purchasing an upgrade to the paladium club. Unfortunately we did upgrade for a much cheaper price than quoted but it wasn’t at all worth it I even questioned the man at the check in desk. I said this is supposed to be a 5 star luxury hotel but hey your still want to upsell it. Of course he had no response. I booked this resort after spending many hours looking for an adults only luxurious resort. I chose this resort because of the reviews. This has happened once before and this is the second time I’ve learned my lesson. Whoever reviews this as 5 stars clearly has never stayed at a true 5 star property. The food was absolutely awful. No taste. Everything was cold. I even got a pile of egg shells in my scrambled eggs one morning at the Mediterranean buffet by the pool. The food was absolutely dreadful. This resort is not on a beach! The resort is on a complex is resorts called the Palladium Group. In order to get to the beach you had to wait for a golf cart that stopped every few minutes that picked up people from the various resorts we had to drive through. We were told that the upgrade included Bali beds and a private restaurant at the beach. There are Bali beds but finding one that isn’t occupied is a challenge plus it doesn’t have its own restaurant. The beach had a restaurant but it’s for all resorts and had terrible, cold food. Butlers if you can actually call them one aren’t butlers at all. They are concierge people in the bottom floor of your building. So much for getting priority reservations at restaurants. Nothing was available until late at night or too early at 6 pm. There is also no evening buffet to eat at. So if you miss your reservation the only option is room service which is abysmal as well. We left being taken advantage of to say the least. There should be no up sell at a 5 star resort. If it’s a 5 star there is nothing to up ask to. I could go on and on about our negatives experiences but there’s not enough time in the day to write it all out and the resort will only come back with the same letter they cut and paste to everyone else. Their favourite expression is “20 minutes” but you can be guaranteed everything won’t be 20 minutes. At the least you may get your request but hours later and or not at all. You’re forgotten about just like everyone else. They don’t care if you never come back at all.

The scenery, hospitality, friendly service were all 10/10. The staff was very nice, along with the butlers and drivers. The only discouraging thing was the food it was a 3/10. I think they really need to pay more attention to that area. They had top shelf liquor at some bars and it was all free.

Time of our lives
We came here for our first couples vacation and my husband’s birthday and we had a blast. Best customer service ever! Our butler was very welcoming and and accommodating transportation was convenient and accessible.

Amazing service
Me and my girlfriend visited the resort and we’re extremely impressed top to bottom. The property is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Especially our butlers Paola and Gabriel! They made this stay so special and were the sweetest people! Would return back to the resort just based off the service provide by Paola and Gabriel in villa 68!
