    translates to jaguar in Mayan, is a powerful spirit in the
    ancient Mayan tradition and a divine symbol of strength.
    This sense of strength and boldness comes to life through
    the creatively vibrant cocktail menu, which presents an
    insightful Mexican take on classic cocktail tradition.

    Café Inez is UNICO 20°87°’s take on café culture, offering guests an essential place to meet on property, or a quick stopover for bites between activities. Fresh smoothies, coffee, tea and baked goods are served in the morning while the menu transitions to sandwiches, paninis and meal-sized salads for lunch and dinner.

    The best time in a long time

    I loooooved it. Janet (concierge) was so helpful and sweet. Lauro and Yeicel were super knowledgeable and helpful is well. I will definitely go back.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Stay at UNICO 20°87°!

    This was my first time in Cancun, and staying at UNICO 20°87° made it such a memorable trip! We had a beautiful Estancia suite with an ocean view, and everything about our stay was just perfect. Our sincere appreciation to our wonderful butlers, Israel and Roger, who took exceptional care of us and made sure we had everything we needed and more throughout our stay . Also, a big thanks to Salvatore and Octavio, — it was such a pleasure meeting you all!They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and gave us a true “Hall of Fame” experience. The food was absolutely delicious — from breakfast to dinner, every meal was a treat. The restaurants offer something for every craving — Italian, French, Mexican, and Japanese — and the coffee shop quickly became our favorite stop for great coffee, snacks, and pastries. We also had an amazing spa experience that made our stay even more relaxing. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, UNICO 20°87°, for making my first Cancun trip so special!

    Amazing experience at Unico 20 87

    The staff was extremely accommodating. Our local host Sebastian was amazing. He checked in with us daily, made all of our reservations, and made it a point to connect with us in person when he could.He even went out of his way to make us feel special on our anniversary. Our room, was incredible. We loved the outdoor tub. Essential oils flowing in our room and throughout the lobby. The bar staff were great as well. Sebastian, Ricardo, and Alex were also phenomenal with entertainment. We enjoyed Bingo, Loteria, Silent party, Dance lessons at night, and by day, we were in the pool with them doing aqua spin and water aerobics. Ricardo was very engaging when we were asking questions about mexican culture. New addition David was also great; I loved his enthusiasm! Meals were good, a little on the fancy side for us lol. We went to a mixology class which was amazing. We loved the signature drinks at each restaurant. Hands down best relaxing vacation we have had so far. Our only recommendation, and one that we hope the powers that be take seriously regarding entertainment: provide at least ONE night or ONE cultural activity. I would have loved to have seen a mariachi band or another Mexican / Mayan performance.

    Amazing honeymoon experience

    My husband and I were gifted this trip for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing! The resort exceeded our expectations—there was always something to do, from water spin classes and live music to mixology sessions. As an all-inclusive, the food and drinks were fantastic, and we enjoyed every meal—from room service to the five restaurants (Mexican, Japanese, Italian, and French). The Italian restaurant was our favorite—the lasagna, drinks, and desserts were outstanding! We also loved our couples massage and our excursion to Chichén Itzá, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Our host, Manuel Butler, was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and made everything seamless. We also appreciated the honeymoon touches like champagne, a heart-shaped rose petal decoration, and a special breakfast. The only downside was the Legendary membership presentation. While it’s optional, it felt repetitive and a bit pushy despite being advertised as “no pressure.” Just know it’s part of the check-in process, and you can decline if you’re not interested. We didn’t get to enjoy the beach due to seaweed (which varies by season), but everything else was truly perfect. Overall, we highly recommend this resort for a romantic and unforgettable getaway!

    I stayed at UNICO 20°87° Riviera Maya from October 13–16 and absolutely loved it. From arrival to departure, everything was seamless and memorable. The room was beautifully designed—modern and stylish with thoughtful Mexican heritage touches throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable; I slept like a baby from the first night, which is rare for me! The shower products smelled wonderful, and one of my favorite details was the evening turndown service. Each night, I’d walk into my room to the relaxing scent from the diffuser—UNICO’s signature fragrance of lime, orange, mandarin, passion fruit, neroli flower, jasmine, verbena, lemongrass, and amber. It instantly made the room feel peaceful and luxurious. The lobby smelled amazing too, setting the tone for the whole resort experience. The food was fantastic, especially at Mura House. The hibachi tables were so good we went two nights in a row! Our server, Andrés, was entertaining and added such flair to the meal that we couldn’t resist coming back for another round. The pool area was beautiful and spacious, perfect for lounging or just soaking up the vibe. I would come back in a heartbeat. UNICO 20°87° delivers a luxurious, welcoming, and unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone at UNICO for such an incredible stay!
