    Amazing service, great birthday trip

    We traveled here for my 40th birthday, and we absolutely loved the experience. The resort is beautiful, the food is excellent compared to other resorts we’ve visited (we do Sandals often), and the service was great. Our concierge Zuleima was awesome! She checked in with us every morning via WhatsApp to let us know the daily activities of the resort and to offer suggestions and/or assistance. She helped us with a couple of excursions, managed dining reservations, and had a birthday surprise waiting on me in the room on arrival! Also, I’m gluten free, and all of the restaurants were super accommodating, with lots of good options. The breakfast buffet and cafe have pastries and cookies at pretty much all times, which is a plus. I would love for the pizza place to offer GF crust, but no real food complaints other than that!

    Our stay at Unico 20 87 - AMAZING!

    Our stay at Unico Riviera Maya was incredible. Our hosts, Alexander and Alejandro were the best part of our stay. They were warm, professional, and genuinely invested in us. We were treated like their personal guests and never felt ignored. They took care of everything. Our dinners were booked and confirmed without us lifting a finger. All of our needs were met and exceeded. They kept us in the loop all week, on WhatsApp, always answering quickly and always one step ahead of what we wanted and needed. We never had to worry if they would be there for us. As for the hotel itself, UNICO is impeccably maintained and has everything a guest could ask for. Each restaurant is an experience in itself, in the food, the décor and the service. When we come back to UNICO, and we will, our hosts will be the reason why and we will ask for them by name. They, and this fine hotel will always make it our favorite destination. Thank you, Alexander and Alejandro for making this a memorable vacation.

    Eduardo made our trip — ask for him by name

    Our Local Host, Eduardo, was the single best part of our stay at UNICO, and that is saying something at a resort this good. From the day we arrived, Eduardo took care of everything. Our dinners were booked and confirmed without us lifting a finger. When we celebrated our anniversary on October 20, he made it feel special with thoughtful touches we never even asked for. He arranged our excursions — Casa Tortuga and Chichen Itza — and kept us updated on WhatsApp all week, always answering quickly and always one step ahead of what we needed. The moment that sums him up: on our last full day, a wedding group took over the pool area near our cabana. Before we even thought to ask, Eduardo had already moved us to a quiet spot at the main pool. He noticed, he cared, and he handled it. Eduardo is warm, professional, and genuinely invested in the people he looks after. We never felt like a room number — we felt like his guests. UNICO is a beautiful resort, but people are what you remember, and we will remember Eduardo. If we come back to UNICO, he will be the reason why. Ask for him by name — and UNICO, take care of him. He's the kind of host money can't buy.

    Sun • Sand • Surrender - Unico 20.87

    I had a great time at Unico 20.87! The views by the ocean are amazing! The resort is beautiful; the rooms are spacious and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Kudos to my host, Isaias; he checked-in daily during my stay and made my dining reservations. Also, I hosted an event which was the primary reason for my stay. The Event Team was very accommodating; shouts out to Adrian!
