We were very impressed with Unico 2087! We had some difficulties with transportation to arrive to the resort, but the resort itself was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The pool was lovely, the food was very good, and we enjoyed the activities! Our room was perfect and was well maintained by the cleaning crew during our stay. The resort is adults only, and the other vacationers were lovely as well. We worked directly with our host Isaías once reaching the resort, and he was very helpful! He was great with communication and helped us set up reservations for both restaurants and off site excursions. He also sent us the schedule each day and checked in on us before leaving each evening. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend!

My partner and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at Unico 2087 and it was the most incredible experience. The hotel itself, the staff, the food, everything was just perfect. We got a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room when we arrived and the room was stunning. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the bath on the balcony was that extra bit of luxury. The air conditioning worked perfectly (which was ideal because it is super warm in September!) and our mini bar was regularly re-stocked. We had a local host, Tony, who helped with reservations and general questions. My partner and I are a reasonably low maintenance couple so we didn't ask him for much, but I knew nothing would have been too much trouble. It's such a nice touch to have somebody personally there to help you and he was only a WhatsApp away. The waiters and waitresses, from the restaurants to the pool bar and elsewhere, were exceptional. The service we had was second to none. We were never without a drink for more than a few minutes, and the food was simply stunning. Our favourite restaurants were the Asian, Mura House, and the French, Avec. That being said, all of the food we had was beautiful, including the breakfast buffet. It is a real treat going to an all inclusive and all of your evening meals being a la carte, which is one of the reasons we chose Unico. The beach is small but stunning, the teams work hard during sargassum season to clear it as much as possible. The Unico 2087 pool is excellent, great vibes and you are guaranteed a super fun day there! There is a quieter pool with it's own swim up bar which we went to a few times which is equally as gorgeous for the chill days. The drinks were unbelievable - the bar teams could make anything! The spirits are premium as standard, and the beer (for those who this is important to, and for us it was!) is Modelo on draft and Corona and Modelo cans. We drank so many frozen margaritas which were insane! I used the gym a few times and for a Hotel, it's perfect for most of your needs. There's a good number of treadmills and resistance / functional equipment which works for whatever you're into. The personalised hats are such a gorgeous touch! There's loads of opportunities to get them painted and the team do a wonderful job. A tip from me is the hotel doesn't provide straws, which is an understandable sustainability measure, The solution is just bring your own :). Also make sure you're well stocked on sun cream as the shops can be a little expensive. I would return in a heartbeat. We travelled from Manchester (UK) and it was SO worth the 10 hour flight. A holiday made of dreams, thank you so much Unico!

Long weekend getaway must
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Not a huge property, but big enough for a couples getaway to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and enjoy time with friends. All the staff were incredibly attentive, especially Anette. We will definitely be back!

Honeymoon at Unico 2087
We went to Unico for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing. Unico was not too big, so we felt comfortable and private. My husband and I enjoyed the restaurant options. Janet was our concierge and she was lovely! She responded to our requests promptly and effectively.

Great for lovers
The top two features of this resort are the service and the restaurants. Every little thing that you needed, whether you were in your room, walking around, in the lobby, or at a restaurant, the service was more than happy to make sure it was completed quickly. The restaurants were a caliber above, even the nicer all-inclusives. If you've been to Hard Rock resorts, there's usually one or two decent ones. They do not compare to what this resort offers. They are top-tier! A big shout-out to Angel, who manages the Asian restaurant! This guy was above and beyond in terms of being kind and accommodating. Having a personal concierge for anything you needed that communicated through WhatsApp was super helpful. Each day, you would get your daily agendas, including the activities. The only thing I would caution people about with this particular place is that there are not a lot of activities outside of living by the pool. There is practically no beach at all, so be aware of that. The sauna was pretty good.
