Absolutely amazing hotel- so beautiful. Retro themed with lovely comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and obliging. Only 10-15 walk to City Walk and theme parks along beautiful Garden Walk or free shuttle bus. Alternatively a short walk to Sapphire Falls for water taxi. Beautiful bars in lobby and poolside - two pools and a lazy river. Spacious seating around poolside. Retro Diner - I would have liked more Vegan options and alternatives specified clearly. But loved this hotel and will certainly return.

A good cheaper Universal resort
This a lower level Universal Resort but is fine. Second time I have stayed here travelling from the UK. It has much cheaper dining options and 2 large pool areas. We stay in Volcano Bay tower as rooms are bigger. Nothing is cheap anymore in the US - the days of getting all your clothes here are long gone - i would say everything is considerably more expensive than UK. About 50% dearer. Food and drinks are crazy prices even outside the parks. We’ve stayed in all the top tier Universal hotels but they are a bit tired around the edges and only hold their value due to inclusion of fast passes. Sapphire falls is better than all of them but doesn’t have fast passes included. Pros Not pretentious Retro theme Cheap deals for rooms Close to parks (you can get water taxi from Sapphire Falls hotel which is a 3 minute walk) Best pool area of all universal resorts Cons The lazy river pool could do with a lot more umbrellas - there is a massive beach area that has no umbrellas at all and it is empty nearly everyday.

Fantastic Hotel
Stayed for a 3 week holiday in a family suite pool facing. Hotel and facilities are fantastic. All the staff are so happy to help and the cleaning staff are polite and helpful. The pools are stunning and the food quality and choice is excellant. Love the pretty walk to the parks a really nice touch. The only downside to the hotel is the fact after paying a large amount for the hotel they then hit you with a parking fee as well. We have stayed in budget hotels (Risen Inn) that don’t even charge for this.

The most amazing holiday
There are simply not enough words to describe how amazing this holiday was. From checking in to checking out, this was the most perfect holiday. This was our dream universal resort and it was exceeded our expectations so much so we booked to return next year with my whole family whilst only 4 days into our trip. Cole was amazing when checking us in and made us even more excited to start our holiday. The busses to and from the parks made every day easy. The early access was also a key point for us as it meant we could ride the popular rides first and the wait time not be as long. Thank you Cabana Bay for the best holiday we have ever had and we can’t wait to return next year.

Brilliant
Back for 5th visit and still perfect. Easy walk to parks and bus if unable to walk. Both pools are clean Nd life guards vigilant. The bars were great and the wide choice of food in food court was just perfect.
