Dec 10, 2024First time at Ventus and won’t be our last
We stayed for 7 nights in the first week of Dec. It was our family’s first time at Ventus and first time going to and all inclusive resort with both of our children. Our butlers Are and Manuel were amazing. We switched rooms after 2 nights and Are helped us take care of everything. We only had to pack our stuff and set them aside for pick up. The trip was a belated wedding anniversary celebration. On our last night our butlers arranged a beautiful surprise for us when we returned from dinner. It was such a lovely and sweet gesture. We were truly touched. The resort itself was gorgeous and clean. The beach was not great compared to other parts of Cancun but it was not as terrible as some people made it sound. Perhaps they have made some improvements since those reviews? I was people playing in the shallow water. We managed to walk from one end of Ventus to the very far edge of Marina. It was a pleasant walk. But we didn’t go for the beach so it was ok not having an amazing beach. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the selection of food. There were a few dishes that were overly salty but otherwise most of the things we tried were delicious. One small incident in the Platinum lounge on our first full day did leave a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I had gone down to ask something and make a few more dinner reservations but the staff helping me kept getting interrupted and ended up also dealing with another guest (the other guest was already being helped by a different staff member but that staff member wasn’t able to assist the guest due to the kind of issue the guest had). Instead of asking the other guest to wait and finish helping me, the staff that was supposed to help me ended up jumping between me and the other guest. It made me feel not very valued and it took a long time to make a few restaurant reservations when it should have been quick. I tried to be understanding but that was a negative experience for me. Otherwise the rest of my stay was fantastic. My family had a great time and we took in 4 evening shows with the fire show being the most entertaining of them all. Thank you to all the staff who worked tirelessly to keep the resort beautiful and provide top notch service to your guests. We will be back!

Beautiful scenery. Amazing food. Excellent service. Would love for the pools to be a little heated in the cooler months.

Prayer group fellowship
We brought guests from our church community and had beautiful memories and fellowship together. They love the resort and the many food choices offered.

Shots galore
Abraham is the best Bartender on the Ruf top bar here. 16 magic shots, 3 down we are on our way 😜. I like that this guy was attentive and creative with our group. I'm definitely planning on coming back soon and starting my experience here great shout out the Abraham with the 🌈 show below

The best staff!
We have enjoyed the beautiful & very clean facilities, delicious food & drinks, and especially the warmth and kindness extended to us by all of the staff here! Abraham (Rüf Bar), German (Concierge), Jorge (A’akat), Manuel (Hacienda Arrecife) and Paolo (Bellman) - just to name a few!
