    No Privacy, Misleading Rooms... Would Not Recommend

    After a 4 night stay I cannot recommend the Viceroy Cabo to anyone who appreciates any semblance of privacy. Whoever designed the Viceroy has never stayed in a hotel before. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for my husband, myself, my mother in law, and our baby. The suite was not a 2 bedroom- it was a studio with one separate bedroom. The master bedroom/living/kitchen area was all one big room and master bath had no real door. There was no privacy whatsoever in the master and it definitely would not work for our family. Our only option was to upgrade for $900/night to a 3 bedroom Casita DOUBLING the cost of our stay. For $2000+/night you’d think the 3 residence would be MUCH nicer. Nope… it was the worst designed room I’ve ever stayed in. It had a decent sized master with no view and 2 tiny bedrooms all in a row. The living area was massive with seating for 20+ and 13 dining chairs... why they chose to make the bedrooms small in favor of a ton of unnecessary seating in the living room I will never understand. The outdoor areas were spacious and well equipped, which was the only plus. Everything else about the Casita was incredibly annoying. Every surface was stone so noise was amplified and echoed. The master bath had 2 toilets (why???), a tiny sink with no vanity or space to put anything and the shower leaked, soaked the floors. The towels were the same ones you’d get at a budget hotel in the middle of nowhere. The hotels most redeeming quality was the location and service. The staff were very nice to our baby and very accommodating. It was very easy to get to San Jose del Cabo. The food and beverage was expensive and overall average. Nido the Japanese restaurant was only OK… the cooked food was decent, but the sushi wasn’t cut properly making it hard to eat and the cocktails were bad. We tried going to Awacate, but had to leave when we realized there was an extremely loud singer/band with an amplifier making it impossible to have a conversation. I enjoy live music, but I also want to be able to have a conversation and relax while I eat. The rooftop restaurant had good drinks for $26 a piece. We felt extremely misled by the rooms situation which left and overall bad taste. They should not advertise a room as a 2 bedroom suite if both bedrooms do not have doors... period.

    Exceptional pool service

    We had an incredible experience at the Viceroy Los Cabos. The pool service was absolutely amazing, and the food was delicious every single time. A special shoutout to Ismael, who truly made our stay exceptional. He was so friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His warm personality and outstanding service made our time by the pool unforgettable. We really appreciate him for taking such great care of us and can’t wait to return!

    Great family vacay

    The Viceroy is an exceptional property to visit with family. On the beach, beautiful pools and an exceptional Kids Club operated under the direction of Brenda to entertain the kids. She did crafts, picked out movies for the kids and was beloved by the family by the time we left.

    A stunning resort with the kindest people!

    From start to finish, my wife and I had an incredible time celebrating our honeymoon at Viceroy Los Cabos, thanks to a beautiful and luxurious setting and a staff that were so generous in creating an unforgettable experience for us. Manuel at the front desk welcomed us with such joy and enthusiasm. Mariana and Alexander on the butler team made everything so easy and created so many special touches for our honeymoon. Ariel at Awacate gave us a magical experience on our first night. Wilbert at Cielomar was so kind and generous consistently. And Soledad from housekeeping went above and beyond to make our space perfect. The whole setting was so serene and joyful and thoughtfully created. And as a gay couple, we felt so welcome and celebrated which meant so much to us. We would wholeheartedly recommend Viceroy Los Cabos to anyone and are so grateful to the staff for our experience.

    AMAZING

    Our stay was made absolutely perfect thanks to our incredible host Jennifer! From the very beginning, she was warm, welcoming, and extremely responsive, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear and timely, and she was always happy to help with any questions or requests. Jennifer’s professionalism combined with a personal touch made us feel not just like guests, but truly valued. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more impressed.
