We had a generally positive experience at Villa del Arco. The standout was the service—Joel and Chay took excellent care of us at the beach and pool, and Jimmy at Neptune restaurant was truly wonderful and made our trip memorable. Seriously Jimmy was great. The location is excellent, with a nice sand beach directly accessible from the property. It’s almost exactly a mile to the marina, perfect for morning walks (or a $5 Uber with our 12-year-old). Unlike many all-inclusive resorts, chair hoarding was minimal—we consistently found spots even during the busy New Year’s week. The property is clean. Daily lunch service on the beach was reliably fast and consistent. We ate at the seafood restaurant nearly every evening and had wonderful experiences. Coffee access in the mornings was unnecessarily difficult. The only option was standing at the breakfast buffet bar, which feels overly complicated for a cup of black coffee. There are a few coffee stations around the property, but we were scolded that this coffee was reserved for “elite” members. The breakfast buffet itself had a serious bird problem—we watched birds eating off shared serving utensils on our first morning, which was unacceptable. We ended up walking next door to the Palma for breakfast the rest of the week, where this wasn’t an issue. We’ve visited more than a dozen all-inclusive resorts since COVID, including Villa del Arco’s sister property, Villa la Estancia in Puerto Vallarta where we had an exceptional stay. Villa del Arco is perfectly adequate and delivered what we paid for. Our child had a great time, and the calm atmosphere and location made for a pleasant week.

Love Jeremy’s water aerobics
We love Jeremy Arciba the water aerobics instructor !!! He absolutely made our trip!! He’s a fantastic dancer and great energy!!

Lovely stay, brilliant service
We had a great time as a family group of 11 here between christmas and new year. Beautiful suites with jacuzzi, full kitchen, big balcony. Lovely pool area and right by the sea with lots of activities - we did wave running and took a glass bottomed boat out to the arch. Lots of food options - we especially liked the taco place (sushi specials), neptune, and the Christmas day evening buffet was superb. We also really enjoyed morning stretch class, activities for kids at 11 and water aerobics, and my three year old loved the dance entertainment in the evening when she could stay awake for it! Chloe deserves a special mention for doing great classes, being so welcoming and being a great dancer! The service here was impeccable - massive thanks to Elizabeth, Emmanuel, Flavio and others who were so friendly and made us feel at home. I had a fabulous mani pedi from Naomi who was super patient with me (indecisive and ticklish...!). We were her for New Year but didn't go to the party as this was expensive and not included in our all inclusive package - that was a shame as it limited out options that night, so might be worth rethinking the approach to that. But minor feedback for a wonderful stay.

The best.New Years break on the beach
The classiest place on the beach with lots of friendly staff and fun activities to enjoy. The exercise class at the pool with Jeremy is the best.
