  Mostly pros, just a few cons.

  Spent 7 days vacationing here recently and overall had a great experience! The best parts about this resort are: 1. Its staff: It has a 4 Diamond rating which makes sense as it's staff are highly skilled and motivated to make great efforts to ensure its guests are made to feel welcome, supported and that their stay is a positive experience. Pool Concierge Paul reflects this. He is keen eyed about anticipating guests needs, even before they realize what they are. Mariel at the front desk checked us in warmly and efficiently and checked on us throughout our stay. The concierge team also was great at checking in with us and made us feel valued and welcome . The restaurant service team made great efforts to get to know us and were so hospitable. Specifically, Javier, Hugo, Cristian and Gabriela stood out in this regard. At the pool bar, Victor and Pablo were very attentive warm and skilled. I would say that some of the other team members could be a bit more attentive and check in with guests at the pool though. 2. The location. So well located and you feel like you're in and part of the neighborhood. You have Pepe's tacos less than two blocks away, and the Athena spa for massages less than 10 minutes walk away. The Malecon is a similar distance as well. 3. The small boutique feel of the resort. We went during low season so we had absolutely no problems finding a great place to lounge by the pool. The pool and beach are a very short distance from the lobby as are the restaurants. Things to be aware of and that might be important to know about this resort. 1. It is an older property. The room fixtures, particularly the bathroom feel quite dated and worn. Everything was clean, (maid and mini bar service was excellent) but it felt like a 3 star in need of a refresh or renovation. The water pressure was pretty weak in the water, due to the heat wave, never really got anything close to being cold. The shower head was not adjustable. The pools were probably my biggest ick. The filtration system I suspect is of a very old design. Every day, despite seeing a staff member skimming the water in the morning, there was quite a lot of debris and bugs in the water, and the jets were on only intermittently because of mechanical issues. The tiles on the bottom of the pool were constantly coming loose and the floor of the pool always felt slippery. Overall though, we would return to this resort...maybe not in high season as I'm not sure about how the resources would handle things if they were super busy. But if the price was right, we'd consider it. We usually stay at Secrets, which is definitely a more polished and luxurious experience, but being way larger, it's not as relaxed an experience . It's really a question of what you value most from your vacation experience.

  Amazing experience!

  10/10 experience! Our stay at Villa Premiere was absolutely wonderful. The hospitality was some of the best I’ve ever experienced—every staff member was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I was also so impressed with the food! We originally didn’t book the all-inclusive option, but ended up upgrading because everything we tried was so delicious. Honestly, this was the best resort food I’ve ever had. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, peaceful, and quiet—perfect for a relaxing romantic getaway. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and would absolutely recommend Villa Premiere to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. A special shoutout to Edgar for providing truly top-notch service and making our stay even more special! ❤️

  Definitely recommended

  Absolutely. Here’s a warm, glowing version that still sounds genuine rather than suspiciously five-star-fizzy: We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend this hotel. The property was beautiful, and we especially loved the awesome pool and having our own balcony, which made the stay feel even more relaxing. A special mention has to go to Sharon, who went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally ended up with a double booking. She was incredibly helpful, patient and kind, and made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier to resolve. Her level of service really stood out and was greatly appreciated. Between the wonderful staff, great facilities, beautiful pool and balcony, we had such a positive experience. I’d definitely stay here again!

  An Amazing Stay at Villa Premiere

  My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed from Sunday through Thursday in August during the low season, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. I especially want management to recognize several members of the staff who made our stay truly memorable. Paul was the first person to break the ice with us, and he immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. He treated us with incredible politeness and took the time to explain the pool accommodations and everything available to us. He connected with us from the very first minute, and that personal touch made a huge difference. Paul is amazing, extremely talented, and a wonderful representative of the hotel. Pablo prepared our drinks throughout our stay, and they were absolutely delicious. He was always open to recommendations and made sure we had a great experience. His attitude and attention to detail really stood out. On Monday, August 17, we visited La Perla, and this became one of our favorite experiences of the trip. The hostess—unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, but she is the wonderful hostess who dresses in brown—was incredibly welcoming. She even allowed us to play chess in the restaurant while enjoying some amazing drinks from the menu. When we eventually got hungry, Jose, our waiter, took the time to understand what we were in the mood for and gave us excellent recommendations. Jose and the hostess made the entire experience feel joyful, relaxed, and personal. Another thing we really appreciated was the music throughout the hotel. The volume was perfect—it created a beautiful atmosphere without ever being overwhelming. And when they played boleros, I absolutely loved it. Those little details really contribute to the romantic and relaxing atmosphere of the property. Something else that genuinely impressed me was the way the hotel staff interacts with the beach vendors. We noticed that the staff treats them with respect and as people, rather than simply as an inconvenience. That may seem like a small detail, but it is very meaningful to me and says a lot about the character and values of the people working at the hotel. Our room was always clean and spotless, and we consistently felt that the hotel took great care of us. Overall, my wife and I are extremely happy with our stay. Villa Premiere gave us an amazing experience, and the staff made us feel more like welcomed guests than just customers. We will definitely be coming back, and we will absolutely be recommending Hotel Villa Premiere to our friends and family. Thank you to the entire team—and especially Paul, Pablo, Jose, and the wonderful hostess at La Perla—for making our stay so special. We truly appreciate everything you did for us!

  Fantastic stay

  We stayed here in August which is the offseason. The room was immaculately clean and kept that way throughout our 7 day visit. The choice of pillow and room scent is included in your stay even when not a member or doing the all inclusive. That’s a fantastic touch. We honestly want to purchase the scents they use. If management is reading these posts, pay attention because this is a revenue opportunity. The bed was extremely comfortable, the rooms stay cool, and as a tall person I always appreciate any hotel shower that I don’t have to duck to get under. We chose not to do the all inclusive due to being foodies and our love for exploring. They offer a membership and will ask you if you want to attend their introduction. We declined and weren’t really pestered about it like other places we have been. The gym has a lot of equipment even for weight lifting and there is a water cooler in the gym to get fresh cold water. The pool area, as mentioned in other posts, is a smaller area however was never full when we were there. Paul goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your time at the pool. He even arranged a little bday celebration for myself and another gentleman whose bday was the same day. In addition, we had a special unexpected surprise waiting in the room. Paul is there most days and will know everyone he is responsible for by name and where they are from. Truly impressive attention to detail. There was some construction happening as this is the offseason. The hotel has obviously gone to great lengths to ensure the noise is kept to a minimum. We rarely heard any noise whatsoever. The only constructive criticism I can give is that our room could have used a larger sink area so that two people could get to the sink at the same time. Could be something to keep in mind during renovation time. Then as mentioned above, we would love to purchase the scents used in the room.
